Sachin का हर शतक लाजवाब रहा हैं. उनके 99 शतकों को हम अपनी इस सीरिज- 'सचिन बस नाम ही काफी है’ में कवर कर रहे हैं. इसी कड़ी में पढ़िये आज सचिन के दूसरे शतक की स्टोरी

आस्ट्रेलिया के विकटों पर तेज उछ्लती गेंदो का सामना करना ही हिम्मत का काम होता है. 1992 मे मर्व ह्यूज और क्रेग मैकडेरमौट जैसे गेंदबाज जब गेंदबाजी कर रहे हो तो हिम्मत मे कमी आना स्वाभाविक हैं. सर डॉन ब्रेडमैन की जमीन पर सचिन ने पहली बार कदम रखा था और आस्ट्रेलियाई दर्शको ने देखा एशिया का शेर जो विश्व क्रिकेट का नया डॉन बनने की राह पर चल पडा था.

2 जनवरी 1992 को भारत सीरिज का अपना तीसरा टेस्ट खेलने सिड्नी के मैदान पर पहुचा. पहले दोनों मैच भारत क्रमश: 10 विकेट और 8 विकेट से हार गया था.

भारत ने टास जीतकर पहले गेंदबाजी करने का फैसला किया था. आस्ट्रेलिया की पहली पारी 313 रन पर समाप्त हुई. जिसमे डेविड बून के नाट आऊट 129 रन भी शामिल थे.

जवाब मे भारत के दो विकेट 79 पर गिर गये थे. उसके बाद वेंगसरकर और रवि शास्त्री ने 111 रन की साझेदारी करके स्कोर को 197 पर पहुचा दिया था. 197 रन पर वेंगसरकर शास्त्री का साथ छोड गये और चार रन बाद ही 201 पर अजहर भी पवैलियन लौट गये थे. अजहर के बाद सचिन क्रीज पर आये और शुरु हुआ बल्लेबाजी की किताब का एक नया अध्याय जो आस्ट्रेलियाई दर्शको ने पहली बार देखा था.

युवा सचिन ने जिस तरह से ह्यूज और मैकडेरमौट का सामना किया वो तारीफ के काबिल था. उन्होने रवि शास्त्री के साथ मिलकर पाचवे विकेट के लिये 196 रन की साझेदारी की थी. जब भारत का स्कोर 397 था तब शास्त्री शानदार 206 रन बनाकर शैन वार्न का पहला टेस्ट शिकार बने. जी हा ये वार्न का पहला टेस्ट मैच था. पहली बार इस मैच मे सचिन और वार्न आमने सामने थे. भारत की पारी 483 रन पर समाप्त हुई. सचिन अंत तक आऊट नही हुये और शानदार 148 रन बनाये जिसमे उन्होने 14 बार गेंद को सीमारेखा के पार पहुचाया. इस शतक के साथ वो आस्ट्रेलिया मे शतक लगाने वाले सबसे युवा खिलाडी बन गये थे. उन्होने 298 मिनट बल्लेबाजी की थी. आस्ट्रेलिया ने दूसरी पारी मे 173 रन बनाये 8 विकेट खोकर और मैच ड्रा हो गया.

सचिन की इस पारी पर आस्ट्रेलिया के शानदार तेज गेंदबाज मर्व ह्यूज ने एलन बार्डर से कहा था “ये लडका तुमसे भी ज्यादा रन बनायेगा.” इस पारी से उन्होने अपनी प्रतिभा और क्षमता को साबित किया था.

Hardly had the audience able to digest the recorded success of "Agneepath" released last week under Karan Johar's "Dharma Productions" with their enzymes,when once again Dharma Productions in hand-in-hand with "UTV Motions Pictures" have brought forward their new melodramatic recipe with such title as "Ek Main aur ekk tu.."Released amidst the valentine week on 10th february 2012,"Ek main aur ekk tu" has a genre and forte of a romantic comedy.Directed by Shakun Batra with Ronnie Screwala and Karan Johar being the producers;this "Ek main aur ekk tu" was formerly entitled as "Short Term Shaadi..!!!"However it portrays the beautiful and and young pair of Kareena Kapoor playing Riana Breganza-a hairstylist and handsome Imraan Khan playing Rahul Kapoor-an architect.

Rahul is a sweet uptight guy and Riana-a warm carefree freak,who meet over few drinks.These few drinks end up being many and they wake up the next morning to discover that in their drunken revelry of night before,they ended up getting married..!!!As the commence the proceedings to get their marriage anulled;these two very different people from very different world strike an unexpected love.

Contrary to the views of the actors,"Ek main aur ekk tu" is a copy of "What happens in Vegas".The major part of the cinematography is put to an execution at Las Vegas.Vegas' beauty and aurora is perfectly displayed in the movie.

The songs and music of the movie are fast and feet tapping.Where Amit composed the music of the movie,Amitabh Bhattacharya gave word to the tune. The title track "Ek main aur ekk tu" and "Aunty ji" by Ash King are the solid hits of the movie. "Aunty ji" reminds us of "Pappu can't dance saala" from Ronnie Screwala's "Jaane tu..ya jaane naa".Dance steps choreographed by Bosco-Caesar makes the song look cool and youthful.

"Ek main aur ekk tu" has a slow pace and moreover the longer portions of the movie tend to be monotonous-which is a problem when it extends to 50 minutes or more. The movie is so busy that Rahul and Riana never confide a bonafide feeling of love and romance.Thus,there lacks a spur.

Imraan Khaan delivers the best performance and Kareena reminds us of "Geet" from "Jab we met."

Save Your Voice: a movement against web censorship

‘Save Your Voice’ एक मुहिम है इंटरनेट की आजादी के लिये, फ्रीडम आफ स्पीच की हिफाजत के लिये, एक मजबूत लोकतंत्र के लिये और हमारे बेहतर कल के लिये. आजादी ताकि हम बिना डरे सच कह पाएं और आवाज उठा पाएं अन्याय के खिलाफ, भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ और सत्ता की तानाशाही के खिलाफ.

इंटरनेट ने ही हमें वह मौका दिया था जब हम फ्रीडम आफ स्पीच का सही मायनों में इस्तेमाल करने लगे थे. हमने भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ आवाज उठाई और एक आन्दोलन खड़ा कर दिया. फ्री स्पीच का सिंबल समझी जाने वाली मीडिया जो कि सरकारों के हाथों की कठपुतली बन जाती थी, आम आदमी की आवाज के आगे मजबूर हो गईं. एक फ्री इंटरनेट ने ही हमें बताया कि ग्रेजुएशन करने के लिये कौन सा कालेज बेस्ट है और यह भी कि कौन सी दुकान पर सबसे सस्ता मोबाइल अवेलबल है. इंटरनेट पर हमने दोस्त बनाए और अपने डिश्कशन फोरम स्टार्ट किये. अगर हम गा सकते थे तो हमने गाया और अगर नहीं गा सकते थे तो उस गा रहे अपने दोस्त को इनकरेज किया. हमने अपने ब्लाग बनाए और उनको पढ़ने के लिये दुनियाभर से रीडर्स भी ढूंढ लिये. और यह सब हुआ क्यूंकि हमें एक अनसेन्सर्ड इंटरनेट मिला. श्रद्धा शर्मा और कोलावेरी इसके बेहतर इक्जाम्पल हैं.

हमारी सरकार ने गुपचुप तरीके से हमसे यह आजादी छीन ली है और अब हमारा यह इंटरनेट आजाद नहीं रह गया है. सरकार हमारी वेबसाइटों को बैन कर रही है और फेसबुक एकाउंट और पेज डिलीट कर रही है. Information Technology (IT) Act में गुपचुप तरीके से किये गए गैरकानूनी बदलावों से तो अब सरकार के हाथों में इंटरनेट की पूरी कमान ही आ गई है. यही वजह है कि हाल के “Press Freedom Index” में इंडिया की रैंकिंग 122 से गिरकर 131 पर पहुंच गई. प्रेस फ्रीडम के मामले में कजाकिस्तान, साउथ सूडान और अल्बानिया जैसे देश भी इंडिया से बेहतर हैं. Freedom House's Freedom on the Net 2011 की रिपोर्ट में 2009 के बाद से इंडिया को इंटरनेट फ्रीडम में "Partly Free" की कैटगिरी में रखा गया है. हाल ही में IT minister कपिल सिब्बल की वेबसाइटों पर लगाम लगाने की कोशिशें दुनिया के सामने आ गई थीं. सरकारी कई और तरीकों से इस कोशिश में लगी है कि किसी भी तरह इंटरनेट की लगाम सरकारी हाथों में आ जाए.

सरकार संविधान के मूल नियमों के खिलाफ जाकर यह सब कर रही है और इसके बारे में हम इंटरनेट यूजर्स अब तक बेखबर हैं. कल्पना कीजिए उस दिन की जब आप सुबह उठकर अपना फेसबुक अकाउंट चेक कर रहे होगें और आपको पता चलेगा कि सरकार के खिलाफ किये गए आपके कमेंट की वजह से आपका फेसबुक ही डिलीट कर दिया गया है और आप पर क्रिमिनल चार्जेज लगा दिये गए हैं. क्या आप अपने ब्लाग पर एक ऐसे लोगों का एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन चाहते हैं जो कि आपके लिखे गए कंटेट को बिल्कुल नहीं समझते हैं. क्या आप नहीं चाहते कि इंटरनेट पर अपको अपने विचार रखने की आजादी हो?

आइये सरकार की इस शाजिश के खिलाफ ‘Save Your Voice’ आन्दोलन का हिस्सा बनें और अपनी फ्रीडम आफ स्पीच के लिये आवाज उठाएं. क्योंकि Albert Camus ने कहा था- “A free press can be good or bad, but, most certainly, without freedom a press will never be anything but bad”.

यह सरकार है या सेंटरफ्रेश ?

Prabha's Kitchen: Coconut Burfi

Ingredients:

sugar - 1 cup
milk - 1 cup
whipping cream - 1 cup
unsweetened grated coconut - 1 cup
ground cardamom - 1 tsp
sliced pistachios - 2 tsp
almonds - 1 tsp

Method:

Heat sugar, milk, cream and coconut to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat.Cook until mixture becomes very thick and starts to leave the side of the pan, about 50 minutes.Transfer mixture to a
buttered tray.Sprinkle with cardamom powder and nuts.Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 8 hours.Cut into squares and serve.

Movie Review "Agneepath"

Some can greet the movie as a "wow”, the handful of others can nick it as ‘masala’ entertainer; the other few can create an illusory of drama, while a few more can adore and ardent it with the ‘chikni tadka’ This Dharma Productions directed by Karan Johar- 'Agneepath" is on the track. The most awaited release of the year has finally set on to quiet the cons who rumored it to be the remake of "Agneepath"(1990) attributed by the "Shahenshah" Big B of the planet bollywood.

Embarked with the presence of handsome and charming Hrithik Roshan and sweet and sexy ‘Desi girl’ Priyanka Chopra-the movie had constantly been the talk of the town. Taran Adarsh;a famous bollywood enthusiast ;quotes, Agneepath was the most awaited platform for the bollywood lovers. Now the speed is on and the people carry an optimistic approach and attitude towards the KJo's production since the times of "Kuch kuch hota hai."So is the same with Agneepath. Let the seat belts be fastened".

Played by Hrithik as ‘Vijay Deenanath Chauhan’ and charming Priyanka as ‘Kaali’-Agneepath is the story of Vijay, who is in search of the brutal killer; who killed his father in his childhood. How he falls in love with ‘Kaali’ and how she aids Vijay in the quest of ‘Kaancha’(Sanjay Dutt) remains the latter excitement in the movie. ‘Kaali’ was a challenging role for me and having never played any such unexpected scripts, Kaali was my sole responsibility then.” says Priyanka Chopra-the female protagonist of the movie.

Sanjay Dutt would be seen playing a negative role after a very long time. He enters into the relationship of foe with Vijay after mercilessly killing his father. Moreover Rishi Kapoor ‘Chintu’ will surprise the audience by playing ‘Rauf Lala’ who does action sequences with Vijay.

The theatrical trailers, teasers and songs of the movie suits the symphony .Sunidhi Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal are always at their best. Sung by Sunidhi Chauhan ‘Gun gun guna re’ has a lively and feet tapping tune whereas "O Saiyyaan.." by Roop Kumar Rathod calms the heart. However a few intimate scenes between Hrithik and Priyanka were of the utter necessity and requirement of the script to show how the love and romance between Kaali and Vjay prospers and bloom.

To gain the attention and curiosity of the masses, an item song ‘Chikni Chameli’ had been portrayed on glamorous and blushing Katrina Kaif. She vows to revive the success of ‘Sheila ki jawan’ .Sung by Shreya Ghoshal and dance moves being choreographed by Ganesh Acharya ‘Chikni Chameli’ has set the floor on fire. Giving huge competition to her contemporaries, Katrina has added the spice to the ‘masala’. At this age and so much enthusiasm for dance is apparently detrimental." she adds.

Overall it would be amazing to watch whether the history repeats itself and how much does the success bells of this movie echo the tough surfaces of this planet bollywood.!!

We are told that we have to live with this “imperfect democracy” and that other countries have also learnt to similarly live with such imperfections. But what we are seeing is not an imperfection in the working of our democracy but virtually a total breakdown, where, as we are seeing, the popular will is rarely getting reflected in governance and law making.

For quite some time now it has become evident that policies being adopted by the government and Laws being made by Parliament are not reflecting the views, wishes or the needs of the majority of the people of the country. Policies like FDI in retail, importing hugely expensive and dangerous nuclear power plants, and laws like the SEZ Act or the Civil Nuclear Liability Act are clearly against the wishes and interests of the people but have been pushed through by the government and in Parliament for the commercial interests of large Indian and foreign corporations.

The same is evident from the manner in which the government and Parliament has dealt with the Lokpal bill. While all polls, surveys and referenda were showing that more than 80% people favoured the Jan Lokpal bill, the government introduced a bill bore little resemblance to it, and defeated the very purpose of a Lokpal by making it a body selected and controlled by the government and making it dependant on government controlled investigating agencies. When amendments moved by the opposition parties to cure some of these defects were likely to be passed, the government filibustered and engineered disturbances and the bill was left hanging in the air.

We are constantly told that Parliament is supreme and that we must respect Parliamentary democracy and that it is inherent in this form of democracy that the people must leave decision making to the wisdom of their “elected representatives”. We know that these representatives are generally getting elected by use of money power and often even muscle power. That is why the major political parties are lining up to induct even those persons who have been kicked out for corruption by the corrupt BSP government on the eve of the elections. We are seeing that only candidates of large, established and moneyed parties have any realistic chance of getting elected, mainly because of the nature of our electoral system in which honest and hardworking social workers who have contested elections as independants or candidates of small political fare poorly in elections.

But even more importantly, we find that after getting elected, these elected representatives normally do not take decisions on policies and laws by finding out what people want, and often such decisions are taken (usually at the level of the party high commands) on the basis of self interest (as in the case of the lokpal bill) or on extraneous and often corrupt considerations. That is why Acts which vitally affect millions of persons like the SEZ Act get passed in Parliament in minutes without any discussion, and the Lokpal bill remains stuck for decades.

Parliament these days get adjourned frequently due to disturbances created sometimes by a few M.Ps, and only a small fraction of its time is devoted to real work. We are told that we have to live with this “imperfect democracy” and that other countries have also learnt to similarly live with such imperfections. But what we are seeing is not an imperfection in the working of our democracy but virtually a total breakdown, where, as we are seeing, the popular will is rarely getting reflected in governance and law making. The challenge before us therefore is: Can we not put in place a system whereby the views of the people are directly taken into account in major policy decisions and laws of the State, rather than these being decided by the “elected representatives”? Such a system is already in place in tribal areas through the PESA Act which provides for the Gram Sabha (the collective of all adults in the village) to take all public decisions pertaining to the village, though mostly this has remained only on paper. Why can’t a similar model be tried in larger areas such as Blocks, Districts, States or even the entire country?

It is true that all the adults of a State or even a Block or District cannot get together to physically discuss an issue as they do in a Gram Sabha meeting. But there are two ways of addressing this problem. If one wants to ascertain the views of the people in a particular State or District on a particular issue, one can have it discussed and decided in each Gram Sabha of that State or district, or one can put it to a referendum to all the people of that State or District. The progress made by IT and Communication technology has enabled a referendum being conducted thorugh internet kiosks (using biometric

identification) which can be set up in each village in the country within a year, if the government had the political will to do so.

There are still two challenges in such a system of referendums. Firstly, the issue to be voted upon needs to be identified and crystallised into questions which are suitable to be framed for a referendum. For example, there could be many variations of the Lokpal bill. Which versions are to be put up for a referendum and who is to decide this? One way of doing it would be to allow a crystallised issue to be put up for referendum if more than a certain percentage of the population sign up for it. This model is already in vogue in many countries including several States in the US. Thus if 5 or 10% people of the electorate of the Nation, State or the District as the case may be, sign a petition that they want a particular decision to be taken, that proposition could be put to a referendum. If voted upon by a majority of the people, the decision could be made actionable.

An alternative model is that whenever a contentious issue arises in the State, district or country (depending upon whether the issue concerns the State or district or the entire country), a neutral body like the Election Commission is charged with the duty to ascertain the most popular views on it and then frame the questions by giving the most popular options, which are then put to vote. Some skeptics ask; How do you expect people to understand complex issues like the Lokpal bill, nuclear energy or Genetically modified foods. “These are matters which can only be understood by experts.” But are our M.P.s or Ministers experts on these subjects? After all they are deciding such critical matters which affect large sections of society. If they can take a view on it by taking into account the views of experts, so can the people. Some people who feel that they understand the issue sufficiently will vote on their understanding. Others will go by the experts that they trust. Manu may not vote, which is the case even for elections. But this would still be better than decisions being taken only by these “elected representatives” who are often elected on a small fraction of the vote in elections dominated not merely by inadequate knowledge of the candidates, but by money and muscle power and caste considerations. These “elected representatives” are far easier to manage by commercial vested interests than the entire electorate. Therefore, it would be much safer to trust the people than these elected representatives.

Whatever the challenges and difficulties in putting in place such a system, the time has certainly come to discuss this. We need to see how we can strengthen and deepen our democracy and ensure that we really get a truly participatory democracy and thus a government which is really run by the wishes of the people. Participatory democracy is an idea whose time has come.

Is it Border Security Force (BSF) or 'Brutal Sexual Force'?

Yes, you might be thinking that why the writer chose such bold and heavy words to express the question. Well the answer is very straight. We write what we think and we think what we see. I couldn’t resist myself from pondering over the exact meaning of BSF after watching the above video which gave gooseflesh to me in dying chilling winters. How could have that innocent soul taken the torture by the BSF personnel in such dying temperatures? Was it his obligation to go through the horrendous act like a sacred ritual or was he guilty to go through such inhuman torture? Even an animal or reptile would bite you back if tortured in such a boorish way…

Place and Purpose of the torture….
The video very clearly shows the inhuman and brutal torture by Border security Force Personnel of 105 Battalion on an apparently poor and marginalized person. The incident took place on January 14, 2012 at Char Mourushi BOP (Border out Post) Camp under Raninagar Police Station of Murshidabad District of West Bengal. The name of the victim is Mr. Habu Sheikh Son of Mr. Saidul Islam of village Atrosia, which is not confirmed yet. The reason behind such torture as stated by the BSF personnel are that the Bangladeshi was illegally trying to enter to the Indian Side of the border from neighboring Bangladesh.

Beware of Border wolfs…..
Eight BSF Jawans (Personnel) used their power in completely an objectionable way forgetting and ignoring their duty and the pledge which they take at the time of their recruitment. A Bangladeshi young man was stripped and beaten by the BSF personnel’s in the chilling winters for the reason that the young man refused to pay bribe. If you look into the video you will notice the conversation between the jawans that how they are planning to torture him and the yelling of the prey who was asking mercy again and again. His hand was tied on a bamboo and was continuously beaten and kicked by the BSF personnel’s. He was not only harassed physically but was also abused and cursed on the name of his religion.

Action and the reaction….
The ongoing assault on Indian and Bangladeshi nationals by BSF personnel has taken a horrible picture. The BSF tried to defend their activities by the excuse of anti smuggling activities but now it is clear that BSF Jawans are taking illegal and cruel measures of torture towards the innocent nationals. BSF can’t take judiciary in their hands and start making decisions and punishments rather they are restricted to not to use physical coercion in the country.

The video clearly highlights the following points.

•   The person was not fleeing at the time of occurrence.
•   The person was in BSF custody.
•   The BSF personnel stripped him naked.
•   The BSF personnel were reveling like tyrants.
•   The BSF personnel tied the twisted hands of the victim with a stick.
•   The victim was pleading for his release.
•   The BSF personnel made physical torture without any fear or timorous.
•   The personnel knowingly beaten the victim at toes of the person.
•   Horrifying act of torture by BSF personnel made disrepute for Indian democracy and security force.

After this incidence occurred, the 8 BSF Personnel’s were suspended for such heinous act and their names are, Sandeep Kumar, Dhananjay Roy, Sunil Kumar Yadav, Suresh Chandra, Anand Kumar, Victor, Amar Jyoti and Virendra Kumar Tiwari. Although these personnel’s are suspended, but what about the self respect and image of that victim which got bid in front of the whole world?

Till now no specific criminal case has been lodged against these personnel’s and no proper action has been taken yet. No appropriate measure has been taken against the in charge of that BOP camp, Company Commander or Battalion commandant.

On the top of such poor actions being taken, the Finance Minister of India, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee says,
“Such incidents take place at times and there is no use blowing them up unnecessarily. The concerned authorities of the two countries would solve the problem through discussions”.

The saviors
The Asian Human Rights Commission (AHRC) and its partner organization Manabadhikar Suraksha Manch (MASUM) have been documenting and reporting cases of such extreme forms of brutality committed by Border Security Force (BSF) stationed along the Indo-Bangladesh border in West Bengal state. The above video clip showing the extreme torture and brutality by the BSF was received by MASUM showing inhumane and brutal torture by Border Security Force Personnel.

MASUM expresses, “this incident is not an isolated one but a part of ongoing torture by BSF which has been visually recorded by chance. It again proves our stand that malice is not only related to individual BSF personnel rather it is directly related to extended impunity for persons in uniform by the criminal jurisprudence of our country. It is a high time to take corrective measures to check unbridled atrocities by the border security force personnel at the Indo- Bangladesh bordering areas”.

Where is the justice?
This is not the only incidence which is burning as a terror on the name of democracy and security. On January 21, 2012 the BSF handed over Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) head constable who had shot dead an Indian farmer in Tripura’s Sipahijala district along the border to the force. Like this there are several reported and non reported cases which are being kept in the red ribbon file and never get justice.

Today, the whole nation is talking about fighting against corruption and we blame the whole political system and politicians. But is it the real picture. Actually the picture is dirty in all the spheres and amazingly the security force is also not untouched from such corrupt activities. Who is responsible for the birth of such cruel emotions and thinking?

The devil of corruption has dropped its deadly poisonous saliva everywhere and it needs to be cleaned from all the corners. We need to stand together and take this issue on a serious note so as to fight for the justice for the victims.

Save Your Voice: अपनी आवाज बचाओ

.........अभी नहीं बोले तो कभी नहीं बोल पाओगे

‘Save Your Voice’ एक मुहिम है इंटरनेट की आजादी के लिये, फ्रीडम आफ स्पीच की हिफाजत के लिये, एक मजबूत लोकतंत्र के लिये और हमारे बेहतर कल के लिये. आजादी ताकि हम बिना डरे सच कह पाएं और आवाज उठा पाएं अन्याय के खिलाफ, भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ और सत्ता की तानाशाही के खिलाफ.

इंटरनेट ने ही हमें वह मौका दिया था जब हम फ्रीडम आफ स्पीच का सही मायनों में इस्तेमाल करने लगे थे. हमने भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ आवाज उठाई और एक आन्दोलन खड़ा कर दिया. फ्री स्पीच का सिंबल समझी जाने वाली मीडिया जो कि सरकारों के हाथों की कठपुतली बन जाती थी, आम आदमी की आवाज के आगे मजबूर हो गईं. एक फ्री इंटरनेट ने ही हमें बताया कि ग्रेजुएशन करने के लिये कौन सा कालेज बेस्ट है और यह भी कि कौन सी दुकान पर सबसे सस्ता मोबाइल अवेलबल है. इंटरनेट पर हमने दोस्त बनाए और अपने डिश्कशन फोरम स्टार्ट किये. अगर हम गा सकते थे तो हमने गाया और अगर नहीं गा सकते थे तो उस गा रहे अपने दोस्त को इनकरेज किया. हमने अपने ब्लाग बनाए और उनको पढ़ने के लिये दुनियाभर से रीडर्स भी ढूंढ लिये. और यह सब हुआ क्यूंकि हमें एक अनसेन्सर्ड इंटरनेट मिला. श्रद्धा शर्मा और कोलावेरी इसके बेहतर इक्जाम्पल हैं.

हमारी सरकार ने गुपचुप तरीके से हमसे यह आजादी छीन ली है और अब हमारा यह इंटरनेट आजाद नहीं रह गया है. सरकार हमारी वेबसाइटों को बैन कर रही है और फेसबुक एकाउंट और पेज डिलीट कर रही है. Information Technology (IT) Act में गुपचुप तरीके से किये गए गैरकानूनी बदलावों से तो अब सरकार के हाथों में इंटरनेट की पूरी कमान ही आ गई है. यही वजह है कि हाल के “Press Freedom Index” में इंडिया की रैंकिंग 122 से गिरकर 131 पर पहुंच गई. प्रेस फ्रीडम के मामले में कजाकिस्तान, साउथ सूडान और अल्बानिया जैसे देश भी इंडिया से बेहतर हैं. Freedom House's Freedom on the Net 2011 की रिपोर्ट में 2009 के बाद से इंडिया को इंटरनेट फ्रीडम में "Partly Free" की कैटगिरी में रखा गया है. हाल ही में IT minister कपिल सिब्बल की वेबसाइटों पर लगाम लगाने की कोशिशें दुनिया के सामने आ गई थीं. सरकारी कई और तरीकों से इस कोशिश में लगी है कि किसी भी तरह इंटरनेट की लगाम सरकारी हाथों में आ जाए.

सरकार संविधान के मूल नियमों के खिलाफ जाकर यह सब कर रही है और इसके बारे में हम इंटरनेट यूजर्स अब तक बेखबर हैं. कल्पना कीजिए उस दिन की जब आप सुबह उठकर अपना फेसबुक अकाउंट चेक कर रहे होगें और आपको पता चलेगा कि सरकार के खिलाफ किये गए आपके कमेंट की वजह से आपका फेसबुक ही डिलीट कर दिया गया है और आप पर क्रिमिनल चार्जेज लगा दिये गए हैं. क्या आप अपने ब्लाग पर एक ऐसे लोगों का एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन चाहते हैं जो कि आपके लिखे गए कंटेट को बिल्कुल नहीं समझते हैं. क्या आप नहीं चाहते कि इंटरनेट पर अपको अपने विचार रखने की आजादी हो?

आइये सरकार की इस शाजिश के खिलाफ ‘Save Your Voice’ आन्दोलन का हिस्सा बनें और अपनी फ्रीडम आफ स्पीच के लिये आवाज उठाएं. क्योंकि Albert Camus ने कहा था- “A free press can be good or bad, but, most certainly, without freedom a press will never be anything but bad”.

दखलंदाजी जारी रहे!

39 साल की हुई Wall : Happy Birthday जैमी

भारत के पूर्व टेस्ट क्रिकेटर नवजोत सिह सिद्धु ने एक बार कहा था कि“ अगर टीम द्रविड को कांच के टुकडो पर भी चलने को कहे तो वो चल देंगे” सिद्धु की ये बात सच भी हैं.

11 जनवरी 1973 को मध्यप्रदेश के इंदौर शहर मे जन्मे द्रविड ने 3 अप्रैल 1996 को श्रीलंका के खिलाफ अपना पहला एकदिवसीय मैच खेला था. पहले मैच मे वो सिर्फ 3 रन ही बना सके थे.
उसके बाद उन्हे टीम से हटा दिया गया था. उसके बाद इंग्लैड के दौरे पर उन्हे फिर से टीम मे शामिल कर लिया था.

पहले टेस्ट मे संजय मांजरेकर के इंजर्ड होने के कारण द्रविड को दूसरे टेस्ट मे मौका मिला और उन्होने इस मौके का बहुत अच्छे से भुनाते हुए शानदार 95 रन बनाये. उनके साथ इस मैच मे सौरव गांगुली ने भी टेस्ट मे डेब्यू किया था. गांगुली ने इस मैच मे शतक जमाया था.

अगचले टेस्ट मे मांजरेकर के टीम मे वापस आने के बाद भी द्रविड की जगह टीम मे बरकरार रही थी. द्रविड ने अगले टेस्ट मे शानदार 84 रन बनाये थे. उसके बाद आस्ट्रेलिया और साउथ अफ्रीका के खिलाफ घरेलू सीरीज मे उनका प्रदर्शन ठीक ठाक रहा था.

वो दौरा जिससे द वाल बने द्रविड

1996-97 मे ही भारत ने साउथ अफ्रीका का दौरा किया था. वहा द्रविड ने जोहनिस्बर्ग टेस्ट मे नबंर 3 पर बल्लेबाजी की थी. उस टेस्ट मे उन्होने अपना पहला टेस्ट शतक लगाया था. उन्होने उस टेस्ट की दोनों पारियों मे क्रमश: 148 और 81 रन बना कर अपना पहला मैन आफ द मैच का एवार्ड प्राप्त किया था. उनका पहला एकदिवसीय शतक पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ चेन्नई मे आया था. वर्ल्ड कप 1999 मे 461 रन बनाकर द्रविड सबसे ज्यादा रन बनाने वाले बल्लेबाज थे.

2001 मे कोलकाता टेस्ट मे लक्ष्मण के साथ 361 रन की साझेदारी को अभी तक सबके जेहन मे हैं. द्रविड ने उस साझेदारी मे 180 रन बनाये थे. भारत के लिये द्रविड ने लगातार 93 टेस्ट खेले हैं.

2006 मे उन्होने भारत की कप्तानी भी सभांली थी. पर 2007 वर्ल्ड कप मे टीम के खराब प्रदर्शन के बाद उन्होने निजी कारणो से कप्तानी से इस्तीफा दे दिया था.

39 साल मे भी हैं फिट
द्रविड की फिटनेस की तारिफ हर कोई करता हैं. आज भी वो जहां 1 रन होता हैं 2 रन बना लेते हैं. उनके शार्प कैचेस आज भी उनकी शानदार फिटनेसको दर्शाते हैं.

मध्यप्रदेश क्रिकेट एसोसियशन के फिजिओ मयंक अग्रवाल से जब हमने द्रविड की फिटनेस के बारे मे बात की तो उन्होने कहा “फिटनेस को बरकरार रखने का द्रविड़ का अपना एक तरीका और रुटीन है. मैं 6 महीने पहले ही उनसे मिला था”. “जब 2008-2009 मे द्रविड़ का प्रदर्शन थोडा खराब रहा तब उन्होने अपने फिटनेस को पहले के शानदार दौर से कम्पेयर किया. द्रविड़ ने उन जगह पर वर्क किया जहां वे वीक थे. अपने मेंटल लेवल और स्कील्स को सुधारा और इस बात का ध्यान रखा कि कैसे अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट मे लंबे समया तक फिट रहा जा सकता है. नतीजा 2010-2011 मे हम सभी ने देखा”. जहा 2011 मे वो टेस्ट मे सबसे ज्यादा रन बनाने वाले खिलाडी बने थे. उन्होने 2011 मे 12 टेस्ट मे 57.25 की औसत से 1145 रन बनाये थे जिसमे 5 शतक और 4 अर्धशतक शामिल थे.

द वाल के रिकार्ड
•    2004 मे उन्हे पद्म श्री से सम्मानित किया गया था.
•    उन्होने टेस्ट क्रिकेट मे 5 दौहरे शतक लगाये हैं और हर दौहरे शतक मे पिछ्ले दोहरे शतक से ज्यादा रन बनाये हैं. 200 (नाट आउट), 217, 222, 233, 270 ये उनके दोहरे शतक के स्कोर हैं.
•    पहले खिलाडी जिसने नबंर 3 की पोजीशन पर टेस्ट मे 10000 रन बनाये.
•    टेस्ट मे सबसे ज्यादा 210 कैच पकडे हैं.
•    उनकी 270 रन की पारी मिनट के हिसाब से टेस्ट मे किसी भी भारतीय बल्लेबाज के द्वारा खेली गई पारियों मे सबसे लंबी पारी हैं.
•    एकदिवसीय क्रिकेट मे लगातार 120 पारीयों तक शून्य पर आऊट ना होने का अनोखा रिकार्ड भी उनके नाम हैं.
•    वो ऐसे दूसरे नान इंगलिश क्रिकेटर हैं, जिसने इंग्लैड मे दो अलग- अलग सीरिज मे 3 या उससे ज्यादा शतक लगाये हैं. उनके अलावा ये कारनामा सर डान ब्रेडमैन के किया था.
•    द्रविड को एक डिफेंसिव खिलाडी के तौर पर जाना जाता हैं. परंतु न्यूजीलैड के खिलाफ 15 नवबंर 2003 को एक एकदिवसीय मैच मे उन्होने सिर्फ 22 गेंद मे नाट आऊट 50 रन बना कर अपना एक अलग अंदाज दुनिया को दिखाया था. जो किसी भी भारतीय बल्लेबाज के द्वारा एकदिवसीय क्रिकेट मे बनाया गया दूसरा सबसे तेज अर्धशतक हैं. उनसे तेज अर्धशतक अजित आगरकर ने बनाया हैं. उन्होने 67 रन बनाये थे 21 गेंद पर.
•    विजय हजारे और गावस्कर के बाद वे ऐसे तीसरे बल्लेबाज हैं जिन्होने एक टेस्ट की दोनों पारियों मे शतक लगाया हैं. उन्होने 1999 मे न्यूजीलैड के खिलाफ 190 और 103(नाट आऊट) रन की पारी खेली थी.

- द्रविड एक ऐसे खिलाडी हैं जो जरुरत पडने पर टीम मे हर रोल निभाने को तैयार रहते हैं. उन्होने विकेट कीपिंग भी की तो ओपनिंग भी और अपने चौथे एकदिवसीय मैच मे तो वो आठवें नबंर पर बल्लेबाजी करने भी उतरे थे.

- 16 सितबंर 2011 को इंग्लैड के खिलाफ द्रविड ने अपना आखिरी एकदिवसीय मैच खेल कर क्रिकेट के इस फार्मेट को अलविदा कह दिया.

- अपने एकदिवसीय करियर मे उन्होने 344 मैच खेले जिनमे 39.16 की औसत से 10889 रन बनाये हैं.जिसमे 12 शतक और 83 अर्धशतक शामिल हैं.

- टेस्ट क्रिकेट मे उन्होने अब तक 160 मैच खेले हैं. जिसमे उन्होने 53.22 की औसत से 13094 रन बनाये थे. जिसमे 36 शतक और 62 अर्धशतक शामिल हैं.

Sachin: बस नाम ही काफी है- First Century

सचिन का हर शतक लाजवाब रहा हैं. उनके 100 शतकों को हम अपनी इस सीरिज- 'सचिन बस नाम ही काफी है’ में कवर करेंगे. आज बात करते हैं उनके पहले शतक की जो उन्होने टेस्ट क्रिकेट मे लगाया था.

सचिन रमेश तेंडुलकर. जी हां ये हैं क्रिकेट के भगवान का नाम. बल्लेबाजी के हर रिकार्ड उनके नाम हैं. चाहे एकदिवसीय क्रिकेट मे 200 रन बनाना हो, या सबसे ज्यादा शतक लगाना हो. वैसे तो उन्होने अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट मे अब तक 99 शतक लगाये हैं. सभी को उनके 100वे अंतरराष्ट्रीय शतक का इंतजार हैं.

उनका हर शतक लाजवाब रहा हैं. उनके हर शतक को हम अपनी इस सीरिज-“ ‘सचिन बस नाम ही काफी है’ में कवर करेंगे. आज बात करते हैं उनके पहले शतक की जो उन्होने टेस्ट क्रिकेट मे लगाया था.

सचिन ने अपना पहला शतक इंग्लैड के खिलाफ 1990 मे ओल्ड ट्रेफर्ड मे लगाया था. उन्होने अपने 9वे टेस्ट मे ही अपना पहला शतक जड दिया था. उस वक्त उनकी उम्र सिर्फ 17 साल 112 दिन थी.

भारत की टीम इंग्लैड के दौरे पर थी. ये टेस्ट उस सीरिज का दूसरा टेस्ट मैच था. सचिन का ये पाकिस्तान और न्यूजीलैंड के बाद तीसरा विदेशी दौरा था. इस दौरे के पहले मैच मे सचिन लार्ड्स के मैदान पर दोनों पारियो मे महज 10 और 27 रन ही बना पाये थे.

दूसरे टेस्ट मे इंग्लैड ने टास जीतकर पहले बल्लेबाजी का फैसला किया और अपनी पहली पारी मे 519 रन बनाये. जिसमे कप्तान ग्रेम गूच, अथर्टन और स्मिथ के शतक शामिल थे.

जवाब मे भारत ने पहली पारी मे कप्तान अजहर के 179, मांजरेकर के 93 और सचिन के 68 रन की बदौलत 432 रन बनाये. इंग्लैड ने दूसरी पारी मे 4 विकेट खोकर 320 रन बनाये और पारी घोषित कर दी. जिसमे एलन लैम्ब के शानदार 109 रन शामिल थे.

भारत के सामने आखरी दिन 408 रन बनाने का लक्ष्य था. जब सचिन क्रीज पर आये तो भारत के 4 विकेट महज 109 रन पर गिर गये थे. 127 रन पर जब अजहर आऊट हुये तो लगा के ये मैच बचाना आसान नही होगा. सचिन और कपिल ने सभंलकर खेलना शुरु किया और दोनो के बीच 56 रन की साझेदारी हुई, लेकिन इस साझेदारी मे 57वां रन बन पाता उसके पहले ही हेमिंग्स ने कपिल के डंडे बिखेर दिये. भारत का स्कोर 183/6 हो गया था. उस वक्त खेल खत्म होने मे ढाई घंटे बाकी थे.

लग रहा था अब भारत ये मैच हार जायेगा. पर एक युवा खिलाडी ने कुछ और ही ठान रखा था. जब वो 10 रन पर थे तब हेमिंग्स ने अपनी ही गेंदबाजी पर उनका कैच छोड दिया था. सचिन ने शानदार शतक लगाया और उस कैच की कीमत इंग्लैड को बता दी थी. सचिन ने प्रभाकर के साथ 160 रन की अविजीत साझेदारी करके मैच बचाया. भारत ने अपनी दूसरी पारी मे 343/6 बनाये. उन्होने नाट आऊट 119 रन बनाये और सबसे कम उम्र मे टेस्ट मे शतक लगाने वाले बल्लेबाजो की सूची मे उनका नाम दूसरे स्थान पर जुड गया था. उनसे कम उम्र मे शतक मुश्ताक मोह्म्मद ने बनाया था. उस टेस्ट मे सचिन ने भारत के महान बल्लेबाज गवास्कर के पैड्स पहनकर बल्लेबाजी की थी.

इस टेस्ट मे वैसे तो 6 शतक लगे पर सारे शतको मे इस युवा खिलाडी का शतक लाजवाब था. उन्होने 224 मिनट बल्लेबाजी की और 17 बार गेंद को बाउंड्री के दूसरी ओर पहुचांया. उनकी इस पारी के लिये उन्हे मैन आफ द मैच के अवार्ड से नवाजा गया.

ये तो सिर्फ शुरुआत थी बल्लेबाजी के इस सूरमा की, अगली कडी मे पढिये कैसे सचिन ने आस्ट्रेलिया के गेंदबाजी अटैक को उनके ही घर मे चकनाचूर कर दिया था.

कॉलेज नाम के इंटरटेनमेंट आईलेंड पर लड़को की दो प्रजाति पाई जाती है- गर्ल फ्रेंड जुगाड़ू और गर्ल फ्रेंड विहीन. गर्ल फ्रेंड जुगाड़ू लड़को की प्रतिभा इतनी विकसित होती है की वे ठीक 'उड़ती चिड़िया के पर गिनने' की तरह राह चलती लड़की को आकर्षित कर उससे उसके मोबाईल नंबर उगलवा सकते है और उनके इस 'उगलवाने' की स्पीड को देख कर अमेरिकी सी.आई.ए एजेंट भी सन्न रह जाते है.

जबकि गर्ल फ्रेंड विहीन प्रजाति के लड़के इस दुःख के मारे होते है की वे अभी तक किसी को "सेट" क्यों नहीं कर पाए.| वे हमेशा इस झूठे भ्रम में जीते है की "कोई बात नहीं बॉस अभी वेल्यु नहीं जानती है. जब कुछ बन जाऊंगा ना तो ऐसी 17 पीछे-पीछे भागेगी...राजेश...राजेश कर के."

जब ये गर्ल फ्रेंड विहीन लड़के कॉलेज में किसी लड़की को बर्थ डे विश करने के लिए उससे हाथ भी मिला लेते है तो उनका दिल फेफड़ो से निकल कर हांफते हुए मुंह में आ जाता है.

अब मान लीजिए कि किसी लड़की ने इन्हें स्माइल दे दी तो वे अपने दोस्तों से कुछ इस तरह कहेंगे -"बॉस! देखी भाई की मार्केट वैल्यू... सोनाली ने आगे रह के स्माइल दी." और दोस्त भी बड़े वाले होते है वे उसे टाँगा-टोली करके उसकी पीठ पर लाते जमाते हुए कहेंगे-"ये बाबु....पार्टी... पार्टी."

जब क्लास की कोई लड़की किसी दूसरे क्लास में पढने वाले अपने बॉय फ्रेंड के साथ कैंटिन में दिख जाती है तो फिर देखिये कि ये गर्ल-फ्रेंड विहीन लड़के किस तरह अपना दुःख प्रकट करेंगे-

"ओये...हम मर गए थे क्या?...हम में क्या कीड़े पड़ गए ?"

"साला...ऐसा क्यूँ होता है यार की खुबसूरत लड़कियों के बॉय फ्रेंड हमेशा सड़ी शक्ल वाले होते है."

"क्यों बे राजेश...इसके बॉय फ्रेंड से अच्छा तो में दिखता हूँ नहीं."

जब फेसबुक पर कोई लड़की गलती से इन्हें फ्रेंड रिक्वेस्ट भेज देती है तो वे सबसे पहले अपने दोस्तों से कन्फर्म करेंगे. "क्यों रे ये यशिता माहेश्वरी कौन है...छोरी की रिक्वेस्ट आई है ...!"

यहाँ पूछना कम बताना और जलाना ज्यादा होता है, अब मान लीजिए की कोई उस लड़की को जनता है तो कहेगा -"कौन...उस मोटी(!) की रिक्वेस्ट आई है?"

'मोटी' शब्द सुनकर वो सारी अघोषित प्रेम संभावनाएं शतुरमुर्ग की तरह जमीन में मुंह धंसा लेती है जिनके माध्यम से फेसबुक आधारित प्रेम बढ़ाया जा सकता था.

अब मान लीजिए की इन गर्ल फ्रेंड विहीन लड़को को किसी लड़की को प्रपोज़ करना है तो वे बड़ी हिम्मत जुटा कर कुछ इस तरह कहेंगे-

"यार ...में तुझे प्रपोज़ करूँ तो तू क्या करेगी?"

"बात बंद कर दूंगी तुझसे...हाँ"

और इस तरह का जवाब देने के बाद लड़की इतनी परेशान हो जाएगी की जैसे साले लड़के ने प्यार की जगह जान मांग ली हो.

99% केस में लड़कियां मना कर देंगी पर मान लिजिए की किसी लड़की ने इन्हें "हाँ " कर भी दिया तो उस लड़की के हाँ करने का अंदाज़ इतना एहसान करने वाला होगा की लड़की कुछ समय के लिए भगवान ब्रह्मा और लड़का किसी तपस्वी राक्षस की तरह दिखने लग जाता है...जो पिछले पाँच हज़ार सालों से एक पैर पर तपस्या कर रहा हो लड़की से प्रेम का वरदान पाने के लिए.

Nepal Diaries: Pokhra & Chitwan

Not that Kathmandu doesn't have enough to amuse a tourist, but if you have to figure out where do all the people who buy the adventure gear, trekking equipment, energy bars, sesame cookies and other provisions go to - you have to visit Pokhra.

This is the hub of adventure activities with many a treks starting from here. The town is situated on the banks of the Phewa lake, the streets lined with cafes, resorts, bars, night clubs and shops selling pashmina, jackets, shoes, snow axes and the likes.
The most convenient and the economical way to reach Pokhra is to hop on to the 7AM buses from Kathmandu. These buses charge NPR 500 for an 8 hour ride to Pokhra.

The lakeside is walking distance from the Mustang bus stand and hence you must evade the cab drivers who volunteer to drop you there for a mere NPR 100. Walking down the road also gives one a fair sense of the city. You would know you are near the lake, when you see rest houses named as 'Fish Tail', 'Peace Eye', 'Fewa'- even if the lake is not clearly visible.

We stayed at Hotel Yeti, a cozy, affordable place with a beautiful garden.
By the time we finished freshening up, it was almost dusk and hence we could not trek upto the World Peace Pagoda - an UNESCO World Heritage site. It is believed the best view of the Annapurna can be devoured from here. There are 2 ways to reach this place - either trek the entire way which may take upto 3 hours or cross the lake in a boat and trek up for good 70mins before you reach the view point.

Food: The place may be classified as a town, but it offers the best of the world cuisines - Italian, Chinese, Mediterranean, Japanese. We strongly recommend the Moondance restaurant - a well laid out, fun place with a pool table, board games, large central fireplace and the best organic coffee. It is a little on the expensive side, but it is a must have experience.

Everyone sitting around is either back from or is on his way to trekking the Great Himlayas. Adventure tales, words of caution, warm stories are as free flowing as the beer.

Chitwan - The heart of the forest

Next day we boarded a bus to Chitwan - the Terai Nepali plains, a relatively warmer terrain. Again the bus leaves pretty early in the morning at around 7AM and hence it is highly advised to allocate atleast 2-3 days for Pokhra. A 6 hour ride would bring you to this natural reserve that was recently ripped off its royalty post the democratic rule in Nepal in 2006. The 'royal' Chitwan once used to be the hunting grounds for the King of Nepal and now is the renowned national reserve - known for its one horned rhinoceros.

Situated on the banks of river Rapti, the town has a beautiful river beach. There are beach chairs, umbrellas, hammocks all along the river. The site of villagers floating on the bunches of dry grass/wooden rafts is extremely soothing. The placid waters of the river and the quiet surroundings would teleport you to a world where life is slow paced and peaceful. In the afternoons the herd of elephants arrive to take a dip in the river. It is a site to behold to watch the playful, enormous creatures throwing water at each other or showering themselves. One must sit atop them if one is too lazy to take a shower oneself.

There are multiple kinds of jungle safaris - the elephant safari which takes you for an hour long ride in the conservation zone, a jeep safari that would take you right into the middle of the forest or a jungle trek that could turn out to be extremely creepy.

Then there are culture tours to the Tharu village, where tourists watch folk dances and musical performances, interact & dine with the people from this village. There is an elephant breeding center which is quite like an elephant hostel where each one has a name, an assigned living space, timings to be taken out for a stroll and fixed bathing hours. The baby elephants are very cute.

Stay: Options to stay are plenty, we recommend the Jungle Adventure World as it has vintage cottages and sprawling lush green gardens, which means a lot of mosquitos too, but its manageable with the anti repellants. The staff is extremely cooperative and is on their toes to facilitate a good stay. Other options can be the Tiger Camp next door. The best thing about these two is their location- the sunset point. An excellent view of the river with the setting sun in the backdrop and the villagers canoeing their rafts across to ferry grass and bushes can be way more engrossing than an action filled bond movie.

Food: Black ginger tea and fried wai wai at the Rhino restaurant is out of the world.

Although it would be impossible to do this on earth, you actually could do this on the moon. The moon has a cold core and it also doesn't have any oceans or groundwater to mess things up. In addition, the moon has no atmosphere, so the tunnel would have a nice vacuum in it that eliminates aerodynamic drag.

So, imagine that the tunnel through the moon is 20 feet (7 meters) in diameter. Down one side is a ladder. If you were to climb down the ladder, what you would find is that your weight decreases. Gravity is caused by objects attracting one another with their mass (see Question 232). As you descend into the tunnel, more and more of the moon's mass is above you, so it attracts you upward. Once you climbed down to the center of the moon you would be weightless. The mass of the moon is all around you and attracting you equally, so it all cancels out and you would feel weightless.

If you were to actually leap into the tunnel and allow yourself to fall, you would accelerate toward the center to a very high speed. Then you would zoom through the center and start decelerating. You would eventually stop when you reached the tunnel's lip on the other side of the moon, and then you would start falling back down the tunnel in the other direction. You would oscillate back and forth like this forever.

If you could do this on earth, one amazing effect would be the ease of travel. The diameter of the earth is about 12,700 kilometers (7,800 miles). It’s a new world, It’s a new start...It’s alive with the beating of young hearts…

It’s a new year, with countless surprises and challenges hidden in its fate. A new beginning is set to start, again with some reasonable wishes and never ending resolutions.

A year goes and a new year comes, and the custom remains the same. But with the passing of every year, every season we come across lot many learning’s, nostalgic memories and tear-jerking incidences.

The year 2011 had been a year of great advancements, events both cheerful and tragic) and the year 2011 witnessed a great loss by the passing away of some great personalities of the nation and across border whose absence can never be replenished. All the incidents which occurred in the last year had affected all of us mentally, socially and economically but we never loosed our vigor to face the challenges and moved on.

The year 2010-2011 witnessed some great revolutions such as Egyptian Revolution in the Arab Countries, Libyan Protests and India Against Corruption, a fight for bringing effective Lokpal Bill in the nation to curb the roots of corruption. On one side the world celebrated the joy of the murder of the most wanted terrorist Osama Bin Laden and on the other side the deadly earthquake and Tsunami hit the heritage and human lives in Japan. The world population touched 7 billion and the retirement of NASA’s Space Shuttle fleet took place from March to July 2011 and Iraq war came to an end.

In such advancements, India as a nation became a part of some major happenings. Business tycoon Ratan Tata stepped down, India won the Cricket World Cup and Formula 1 race was introduced on the domestic grounds.

Last year we lost some eminent personalities who stood as an epitome in their respective fields such as Shammi Kapoor, Dev Anand, Jagjit Singh, Bhupen Hazarika, M.F. Hussain, Amy Winehouse, Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi, Mario Miranda, Steve Jobs, Elizabeth Taylor and Peter Roebuck. Amidst of all the loss which we faced we always stood together and faced all the challenges.

Dakhalandazi as a team touched new horizons and expanded its team. With the commitment to serve the society in the best of ways and with the unparalleled amount of information we tried to give our best and hope to continue the same. Dakhalandazi team became a prominent part of India Against Corruption Movement in August and December protests. We as a team brought two issues of print magazine, “Bangalured” along with our associate partners Bangalured.

In the series of success we launched our new project, “Know Your Neta” whose objective is to bring the elections on much serious note by providing the information about our politicians on the website. In the same move of accomplishments we joined hands with an NGO called ‘Athak Prayas’.

We tried to put our efforts and got a quite good response for the same from our readers. We aim to come up with some new and exciting projects in this year and keep you provided with the most reliable and best of information with a level ahead.

साल 2011 का राजनीतिक बहीखाता...

वर्ष 2011 भारतीय राजनीति में भ्रष्टाचार की लगातार उधडती परतों के बाद ए. राजा जैसे मंत्रियों और कुछ कारपोरेट कंपनी के दिग्गज शाहिद बलवा, विनोद गोयेनका और संजय चंद्रा जैसे लोगो के तिहाड़ पहुँचने के साथ अन्ना के भ्रष्टाचार के विरोध और मजबूत लोकपाल के लिए हुए आन्दोलन और उसे मिले जनसमर्थन के लिए जाना जाएगा. भ्रष्टाचार के इन आरोपों ने उत्तराखंड से निशंक और कर्नाटक से येदुरप्पा को गद्दी छोड़ने के लिए मजबूर किया. इसके अलावा सुप्रीम कोर्ट के कुछ फैसलों जैसे संसद की सर्वोच्चता पर प्रश्न उठाने के लिए भी जाना जाएगा. महिला आरक्षण बिल इस वर्ष भी लटका रहा और वर्ष के अंत में राजनैतिक षड्यंत्र के बीच इसमे लोकपाल बिल का नाम भी जुड़ गया.

जनवरी में साल की शुरुआत ठण्ड से जरुर हुयी लेकिन भ्रष्टाचार की अग्नि ने भारतीय राजनीति को अपने गर्मी से ज्वलंत मुद्दा बनाये हुआ था. भले ही सरकार ने मनरेगा के तहत मजदूरी 30% बढाकर और प्रधानमन्त्री मनमोहन सिंह ने भाभा परमाणु अनुसंधान केंद्र राष्ट्र को समर्पित करने के साथ मोबाइल नंबर पोर्टेबिलिटी की शुरुआत करके सरकार के लिए नए साल में अच्छे और नए संकेत दिए लेकिन

फरवरी की शुरुआत ने ही सरकार के लिए साल भर होने वाले संकटो के संकेत दे दिए. २ फरवरी को मंत्री ए. राजा को सीबीआई द्वारा हिरासत में लिए जाने के साथ ही भ्रष्टाचार सरकार के लिए मुसीबत बननी शुरू हो गयी. जो कि १७ फरवरी को राजा के १४ दिन की न्यायिक हिरासत में तिहाड़ भेजे जाने के साथ ही बढ़ गयी. इसके अलावा जेपीसी के लिए लगातार दबाव झेल रही सरकार को आख़िरकार प्रधानमन्त्री ने जेपीसी की घोषणा करके राहत दी.

मार्च में ठंडक कम होने के साथ ही पहले हफ्ते में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने ३ मार्च को विवादित पी. जी. थॉमस को सीवीसी के मुख्य कमिश्नर के पद से हटाने के आदेश जारी कर दिए. इसके ठीक एक दिन बाद 4 मार्च को सीबीआई ने फेमस बोफोर्स घोटाले के आरोपित क्वात्रोची की क्लोज़र रिपोर्ट कोर्ट में पेश की जिसमे क्वात्रोची के खिलाफ सभी मामले वापस लेने की गुहार थी. 17 मार्च को विकिलीक्स के खुलासे ने कांग्रेस की समस्या बढ़ा दी जब मनमोहन सरकार को कैश फॉर वोट मामले में संलिप्त बता दिया. इसी मार्च में हसन अली जैसे काले धन के सौदागर भी प्रवर्तन निदेशालय के शिकंजे में आया. जो पहले 7 मार्च को प्रवर्तन निदेशालय के गिरफ्त में आया लेकिन साक्ष्यों के अभाव में मुंबई कोर्ट ने उसे जमानत दे दी. लेकिन कुछ दिनों बाद उसे फिर गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया. महीने का अंत बीजेपी के लिए भी अच्छा नहीं रहा क्योकि विकीलीक्स के एक और खुलासे में कहा की बीजेपी नेता अरुण जेटली ने हिंदुत्व मुद्दे को बीजेपी के लिए एक अवसरवादी मुद्दा कहा है.

अप्रैल की शुरुआत हुयी अन्ना के आन्दोलन से जब वो भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ एक मजबूत जन लोकपाल की मांग को लेकर दिल्ली में सरकार के खिलाफ मोर्चा खोलकर बैठ गए. 9 अप्रैल को सरकार ने जनसमर्थन को देखते हुए जन लोकपाल बिल बनाने की अधिसूचना जारी कर दी. जिसके बाद अन्ना ने अनशन समाप्त कर दिया. जिसके बाद लोगो में भ्रस्टाचार के खिलाफ एक बयार चलने लगी और सरकार के विरुद्ध लोगो में रोष फैलने लगा. इस दौरान देश में ऑनर किलिंग के मामले सामने आने पर 19 अप्रैल को सुप्रीमे कोर्ट ने खाप पंचायतो को 'कंगारू कोर्ट' की संज्ञा दी. 24 अप्रैल को सत्य साईं बाबा का देहांत हुआ. जिसके बाद कुछ समय तक उनकी सम्पति यानि ट्रस्ट को लेकर विवाद चलता रहा. अप्रैल महीने के अंत में लोकलेखा समिति के अध्यक्ष मुरली मनोहर जोशी ने 2 जी घोटाले की रिपोर्ट लोकसभा अध्यक्ष को भेजी जिस पर अच्छा खासा बवाल सरकार ने किया.

मई की शुरुआत अरुणांचल के मुख्यमंत्री दोरजी खांडू की हेलीकाप्टर दुर्घटना में मृत्य से हुयी. 9 मई को सर्वोच्च न्यायलय ने अयोध्या में राम जन्मभूमि को तीन बराबर हिस्सों में बांटे जाने के इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट के फैसले को विचित्र करार देते हुए जमीन बटवारे पर रोक लगा दी और 1993 में दिए अपने फैसले के मुताबिक यथास्थिति कायम रखने का आदेश दिया. 15 मई को भारतीय किसान यूनियन के संस्थापक महेंद्र सिंह टिकैत का निधन हो गया. 20 मई को वामदलों को करारी शिकस्त देते हुए तृणमूल कांग्रेस की अध्यक्ष ममता बेनर्जी बंगाल की पहली महिला मुख्यामंत्री के रूप में कार्यभार संभाला. वही जयललिता ने भी तमिलनाडु में करूणानिधि को सत्ता से हटाते हुए खुद गद्दी संभाली. 22 मई को मनमोहन सरकार के यूपीए-2 के दो साल पुरे हुए.

जून की गर्मी के शुरआत के पहले हफ्ते में कैग की रिपोर्ट ने रिलाइंस को केजिन बेसिन घोटाले में आरोपित माना जिसमे सरकारी एजेंसियों के माध्यम से रिलाइंस को फायदा पहुँचाने की बात सामने आई. 3 जून को हरियाणा के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री भजन लाल का दिल का दौरा पड़ने से निधन हुआ. 4 जून को बाबा रामदेव कालेधन और भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ रामलीला मैदान में अनशन पर बैठ गए. 5 जून को रामलीला मैदान में सुरक्षा कारणों का हवाला देते हुए लाठी चार्ज हुयी जिसके बाद कई लोग जख्मी हुए और बाबा रामदेव को मैदान छोड़ना पड़ा. जिसके बाद कांग्रेस सरकार की जमकर आलोचना भी हुयी. लेकिन बाबा रामदेव ने अनशन जारी रखा जो की 12 जून को पतंजलि योगपीठ में अधिक स्वस्थ्य खराब होने की वजह से ख़त्म करना पड़ा. इसी महीने एक और मंत्री दयानिधि मारन को भी घोटालों में घिरने के बाद अपने मंत्री पद से इस्तीफा देना पड़ा.

जुलाई माह में लोकसभा सत्र के दौरान पहली बार सरकार ने जनलोकपाल बिल की चर्चा संसद में की और बिल की कॉपी सदन में राखी जिसमे प्रधानमंत्री को लोकपाल के दायरे से बाहर रखने के साथ-साथ कई बिन्दु थे जिन पर विपक्ष ने जमकर विरोध किया. जिसके बाद अन्ना हजारे ने भी मजबूत लोकपाल न लाने की स्थिति में दिल्ली में अनशन की घोषणा कर दी. बीजेपी ने भी कलमाड़ी को कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स का मुखिया बनाने को लेकर सरकार पर कलमाड़ी की गलत नियुक्ति का आरोप लगाया. इसी महीने मशहूर चित्रकार एम्. ऍफ़ हुसैन का भी 3 जुलाई को लन्दन में निधन हो गया.

अगस्त माह अन्ना और उनके आन्दोलन के नाम रहा. मजबूत लोकपाल बिल को लेकर जैसे ही अन्ना ने दिल्ली में आमरण अनशन की शुरुआत की उन्हें गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया लेकिन अन्ना ने गिरफ्तार होने के बाद जेल में ही अनशन शुरू कर दिया. ये 16 अगस्त का दिन था. जेल में अनशन शुरू करने पर घबरा कर सरकार और प्रशासन को उन्हें अनशन की जगह देने पड़ी. इस आन्दोलन को देश भर के लोगों ने समर्थन दिया जिसके बाद 27 अगस्त को सरकार को विवश होकर उनकी मांग माननी पड़ी. 28 अगस्त की सुबह अन्ना ने अपना अनशन ख़त्म किया. इसी माह दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री पर भी घोटालों के आरोप लगे.

सितम्बर माह की शुरुआत विवादित और आरोपित न्यायमूर्ति सौमित्र सेन के इस्तीफे से हुयी. ये कोलकाता उच्च न्यायलय में थे. इससे पहले इनका महाभियोग प्रस्ताव लोकसभा में पेश हुआ था. 3 सितम्बर को प्रधानमन्त्री और उनके मंत्रिमंडल ने अपनी सम्पति की घोषणा की. इसी माह की 27 तारीख को सरकार ने नियंत्रण मुक्त करने का प्रस्ताव को सहमति दी. साथ ही सीबीआई ने चिदंबरम को 2 जी मामले में क्लीन चिट भी दी. टीम अन्ना के साथियों पर आरोप लगने की शुरुआत भी इसी महीने से हुयी.

अक्टूबर महीने में 11 अक्टूबर को लाल कृष्ण अडवाणी ने एक बार फिर अपनी 38 दिवसीय रथ यात्रा की शुरुआत बिहार से की. एस बार की रैली उन्होंने भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ निकाली. टीम अन्ना के मेम्बर प्रशांत भूषण पर हमला किया गया जो की जम्मू कश्मीर पर विवादित बयान देने के बाद हुआ. इससे पहले 5 अक्टूबर को रिटायर न्यायाधीश मार्कण्डेय काटजू को प्रेस परिषद् का नया अध्यक्ष चुना गया. इसी माह सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने हिन्दू महिला के पैतृक सम्पति में बराबर का अधिकार होने घोषणा की. 22 को ए. राजा और कनिमोझी समेत 17 पर सीबीआई की विशेष अदालत ने आरोप तय किये. 25 अक्टूबर को केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने देश की पहली मैन्युफेक्चारिंग नीति को को मंजूरी दी. 27 को प्रसिद्ध साहित्यकार श्री लाल शुक्ल का निधन हुआ.

नवम्बर की सबसे बड़ी घटना संसद से रही जो कि विदेश निवेश के मुद्दे पर लगभग स्थगित ही रही. 20 नवम्बर को अडवाणी की रथ यात्रा की दिल्ली में समाप्ति हुयी. इसके अतिरिक्त 29 नवम्बर को कनिमोझी और अन्य कार्पोरेट कंपनी के दिग्गजों को भी तिहाड़ से 23 नवम्बर को रिहाई मिली. इसके अतिरिक्त राजस्थान के भंवरी देवी केस में भी सीबीआई सेम्पल लेने और तहकीकात में लगी रही. अन्ना ने जनलोकपाल न पेश होने कि स्थिति में दिल्ली में ११ दिसम्बर को सांकेतिक अनशन की घोषणा की.

दिसम्बर का शुरुआती दिन संसद के ऍफ़डीआई के मुद्दे पर स्थगित रहने शुरू हुए उसके बाद संसद में अभिषेक मनु सिंघवी की अध्यक्षता वाली समिति ने लोकपाल का ड्राफ्ट रखा जिसका विरोध टीम अन्ना के साथ-साथ विपक्ष ने भी किया. 11 तारीख को अन्ना ने दिल्ली में सांकेतिक अनशन भी किया. लेकिन कुछ दिन बाद ही चिदम्बरम पर एक होटल मालिक के पक्ष में कार्य करने के आरोप के साथ ही 2 घोटाले में ए. राजा के बराबर दोषी होने का आरोप लगा. जिसकी वजह से संसद फिर स्थगित हुयी और चिदंबरम का भारी विरोध हुआ. कुछ दिन बाद कांग्रेस ने मुस्लिम आरक्षण का मुद्दा उठाया जिसके वजह से लोकपाल में कई राजनीतिक पेंच फँस गए. सरकार द्वारा लोकपाल बिल को पारित करने के लिए सत्र तीन दिन बढ़ाने की घोषणा की गयी. 27 दिसम्बर को लोकपाल पर चर्चा और मुंबई में अन्ना का अनशन एक साथ शुरू हुआ. लेकिन बीमारी की वजह से उन्हें 28 दिसम्बर को अपना अनशन और जेल भरो आन्दोलन वापस लेना पड़ा. इसी दौरान सरकार ने लोकसभा में लोकपाल पारित करवा लिया. लेकिन लोकपाल को संवैधानिक दर्ज़ा नहीं मिल पाया. 29 अगस्त को सरकार ने लोकपाल को राज्यसभा में पारित करवाने की कोशिश की लेकिन बहुमत के अभाव में सरकार को लोकपाल बिल को बीच में ही रोक देना पड़ा.जिससे सरकार का ये साल फजीहत के साथ ख़त्म हुआ.

कुल मिलाकर अगर 2011 अगर किसी राजनितिक मुद्दे के लिए जाना जायेगा तो वो होगा भ्रष्टाचार और राजनीति का खुलता गठजोड़.

खेल 2011 एक नजर

1 जनवरी की सुबह जब एम.एस धोनी और भारत की महिला कबड्डी टीम की कप्तान तेजस्विनी चाय के कप को हाथों मे पकड कर चाय की चुस्कियां ले रहे थे तो शायद उन्होने सोचा भी नही होगा के इस साल उनके हाथो मे विश्व कप होगा.

इस साल खेल की दुनिया मे हर साल की तरह की काफी कुछ घटित हुआ. आइये एक नज़र इस साल की खेल की झलकियों पर-

द वाल ने एकदिवसीय क्रिकेट को और मुरली के क्रिकेट के हर फार्मेट को कहा अलविदा

16 सितबंर 2011 को इंग्लैड के खिलाफ द्रविड ने अपना आखिरी एकदिवसीय मैच खेल कर क्रिकेट के इस फार्मेट को अलविदा कह दिया.

11 जनवरी 1973 को मध्यप्रदेश के इंदौर शहर मे जन्मे द्रविड ने 3 अप्रैल 1996 को श्रीलंका के खिलाफ अपना पहला एकदिवसीय मैच खेला था. पहले मैच मे वो सिर्फ 3 रन ही बना सके थे. अपने एकदिवसीय करियर मे उन्होने 344 मैच खेले जिनमे 39.16 की औसत से 10889 रन बनाये हैं जिसमे 12 शतक और 83 अर्धशतक शामिल हैं.

मुरली ने 12 अगस्त 1993 को भारत के खिलाफ ही अपने एकदिवसीय करियर का आगाज़ किया था. अपना आखिरी एकदिवसीय भी उन्होने भारत के खिलाफ ही 2 अप्रैल 2011 को खेला था.

मुरली ने 133 टेस्ट मे 800 विकेट लिये हैं. एक पारी मे 5 विकेट लेने का कारनामा वो 67 बार कर चुके हैं और 10 विकेट एक मैच मे उन्होने 22 बार लिये हैं.

341 एकदिवसीय मैचो मे उन्होने 534 विकेट लिये हैं. एक मैच मे 5 विकेट लेने का कारनामा उन्होने 10 बार किया है.

लगाया जीवन का शतक

क्रिकेट में एक शतक लगाने की इच्छा तो सबकी होती हैं, और पहले शतक बाद जो ख़ुशी किसी भी batsman को मिलती हैं देखने लायक होती हैं. सचिन तेंदुलकर को 100 वां international शतक बनाते देखने की इच्छा हर किसी हैं. मगर कोई एक हैं जिसकी जीवन की ये अंतिम इच्छा भी हो सकती है और अगर वो शख्स अगर खुद एक १०० शतक का रिकॉर्ड बना दे तो.

जी हां south Africa के Norman Gordon ने ये कर दिखाया है उन्होंने अपने जीवन के 100 साल पूरे कर लिए हैं और ऐसा करने वाले वो एकमात्र टेस्ट cricketer हैं. 6 अगस्त 1911 को जन्मे Norman Gordon ने अपने career में सिर्फ 5 टेस्ट मैच खेले थे और उनमे 20 wicket लिए और 8 रन बनाये थे.

टेनिस मे चला जोकोविक का जादू

इस साल टेनिस मे एक नाम बहुत सुर्खियो मे रहा “नोवक जोकोविक”. सर्बिया के इस 24 वर्ष के खिलाडी ने इस साल सबसे पहले आस्ट्रेलियन ओपन, फिर विबंलडन और उसके बाद यूएस ओपन जीत कर टेनिस जगत मे सनसनी फैला दी थी. इसके साथ वो छ्ठे खिलाडी बन गये थे. जिसने एक साल मे तीनों बडे खिताब जीते. इस साल उन्होने वर्तमान टेनिस जगत के दो बडे सितारे “रोजर फेडरर” और “राफेल नडाल” को भी हराया हैं. एक ही साल मे जोकोविक चारो ग्रेंड स्लैम के सेमीफाईनल मे पहुचने वाले सबसे युवा खिलाडी हैं. अभी वे टेनिस जगत मे पुरुषो मे नबंर 1 स्थान पर हैं.

कब्बडी मे मचा धमाल

ये साल कब्बडी के लिहाज से तो भारत के लिये काफी अच्छा रहा हैं. भारतीय पुरूष और महिला दोनो टीमो ने कब्बडी का विश्व कप जीता. हालाकि जीत के बाद महिला टीम को विश्व कप को आटो मे ले जाना पड़ा. जिससे इस जीत की खुशी मे थोडी कमी तो आयी थी.

हाकी मे जीत

भारत की पुरूष हाकी टीम ने इस साल चाईना मे आयोजित पहली एशियाई हाकी प्रतियोगिता जीत ली. फाईनल मे भारत ने अपने चिरप्रतिद्वंदी पाकिस्तान को पेनाल्टी शूट आऊट मे 4-2 से मात दी थी.

स्विमिंग मे सन ने बनाया विश्व रिकार्ड

2011 मे आयोजित हुई वर्ल्ड चैम्पियनशिप मे सन यांग ने 1500 मीटर की फ्रिस्टाईल तैराकी मे अब तक का सबसे पुराना रिकार्ड तोड दिया. उन्होने 14:34:14 का समय ले कर ग्रेंट हैकेट का काफी पुराना रिकार्ड तोड दिया.

भारत मे भी शुरू हुई रफ्तार की जंग

पहली बार 1997 मे फार्मूला 1 रेस भारत मे आयोजित करवाने का सोचा गया था. आखिरकार ये सोच रंग लायी और 28 अक्टूबर 2011 को नोएडा मे ये रेस आयोजित हूई. बुद्धा अंतरराष्ट्रीय सर्किट दिल्ली से 24 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर हैं. हरमन टिकले ने 5.14 किलोमीटर लम्बे इस सर्किट को बनाया था.

इस रेस मे 12 टीमो ने भाग लिया. भारत की और से फोर्स इंडिया की टीम शामिल हुई जिसके मालिक विजय माल्या हैं. एड्रियन सुटिल (जर्मन मूल के) और पाल डी रेस्टा (ब्रिटिश मूल के) इस टीम के ड्राइवर थे. इस टीम के एड्रियन सुटिल 9वें और पाल डी रेस्टा 13वे स्थान पर रहे.

भारत के सबसे सफल फार्मूला 1 खिलाडी नारायन कार्तीकेयन ने इस रेस मे एच.आर.टी एफ वन (स्पेन ) की टीम की तरफ से भाग लिया और वो इस रेस मे 17वे स्थान पर रहे.

आर.बी.आर रेनाल्ट के सेबेस्टियन वेटल ने इस रेस को जीत कर पहला स्थान प्राप्त किया था.

जाते जाते उनकी बात जो हमे इस साल छोड गये

टाइगर पटौदी

इस साल भारत के पूर्व टेस्ट कप्तान नवाब पटौदी का निधन हो गया. 5 जनवरी 1941 को भोपाल, मध्यप्रदेश मे उनका जन्म हुआ था. भारत के लिये उन्होने 46 टेस्ट खेले थे जिसमे 34.91 की औसत से 2793 रन बनाये थे. जिसमे 6 शतक और 16 अर्धशतक भी शामिल थे. उन्होने 40 टेस्ट मे भारत की कप्तानी की जिसमे 9 मे वो टीम को जीत दिलाने मे कामयाब रहे थे. वे भारत के सबसे युवा कप्तान हैं. 22 सितंबर 2011 को उन्होने अंतिम सांस ली थी.

जोसेफ विलियम फ्रेजियर

जोसेफ विलियम फ्रेजियर बाक्सिंग की दुनिया मे एक जाना माना नाम. स्मोकिन जोए इसी नाम से मशहूर थे फ्रेजियर. 12 जनवरी 1944 को जन्मे जोए ओलंपिक और विश्व बोक्सिंग के चैम्पियन थे. 1971 मे उन्होने मोहम्मद अली को पाईंट के जरिये हराया था. उस मुकाबले को “फाईट आफ द सेंचूरी” कहा जाता है. 7 नवबंर 2011 को उन्होने अंतिम सांस ली थी.

Ban on the cartoons: क्या कार्टूनिस्ट नहीं कर सकता भ्रष्टाचार का विरोध?

कार्टूनिस्ट असीम के कार्टूनों की गूंज गुरूवार को राज्यसभा में भी सुनाई दी और सांसद Ram Kripal Yadav ने आपत्ति जताई कि संसद को ट्वाइलेट बताकर कार्टूनिस्ट Aseem ने देश की कथित सर्वोच्च संस्था पर निशाना साधा है. मजेदार बात तो यह है कि उसी सदन में आरजेडी के सांसद राजनीति प्रसाद ने अपनी राजनीति को चमकाने के लिये लोकपाल बिल की कापी फाड़कर फेक दी और हंगामा मचा दिया. मैं पूछता हूं कि क्या इसे देश के सवोच्च सदन का अपमान नहीं कहा जाएगा?

मुंबई में अन्ना के अनशन के दौरान एक युवा कार्टूनिस्ट असीम त्रिवेदी के कार्टून को प्रतीक चिन्हों और संसद के अपमान और मजाक से जोड़कर मुंबई क्राईम ब्रांच ने उनकी वेबसाइट कार्टून्स अगेंस्ट करप्शन को बैन करके एक बार फिर ये जता दिया की अगर कोई कार्टूनिस्ट या कलाकार अपनी कला और कार्टून के माध्यम से भ्रष्टाचार का विरोध करे तो वो विरोध न होकर होकर अपमान का प्रतीक बन जाता है.

महाराष्ट्र में अन्ना के आन्दोलन के दौरान भारी संख्या में मुंबई में अनशन स्थल में पहुँच रहे थे. जो देश के कोने-कोने से अन्ना के भ्रष्टाचार विरोधी आन्दोलन को समर्थन देने और मजबूत लोकपाल के पक्ष में इकट्ठा हो रहे थे. सब भ्रष्टाचार के विरोध में खड़े थे और भ्रष्टाचार के विरुद्ध अपने-अपने तरीके से प्रदर्शन कर रहे थे. कोई सिर पर टोपी पहने था, कोई हाथो में तख्तियां लिए था, कोई भ्रष्टाचार विरोधी गीत में व्यस्त था तो कोई बीच में नारे लगाकर. सबके अन्दर गुस्सा था और सब के सब अपने तरीके से जाहिर कर रहे थे. लाजमी है कि विरोध के सबके तरीके अलग-अलग होंगे. जो चरखा चलाकर सूत कात सकता था, उसने सूत कातकर विरोध किया. जो गाकर विरोध कर सकता था, उसने गाकर किया, जिसे रचनात्मकता पसंद थी तो उसने कपड़ो पर कलाकारी करके विरोध किया. लेकिन भले ही तरीके अलग हो लेकिन भावना सबकी एक ही थी, सब भ्रष्टाचार के विरोध में ही खड़े थे.

अगले दिन विरोध के सभी तरीके सुर्ख़ियों में आये लेकिन विरोध का एक तरीका ऐसा भी था जिसके खिलाफ कई आवाजें मीडिया में मुखर हुयी. युवा कार्टूनिस्ट असीम त्रिवेदी अपने कार्टून्स की प्रदर्शनी के माध्यम से भ्रष्टाचार का विरोध कर रहे थे. जिसमे उन्होंने प्रतीक चिन्हों और संसद के रूप में बनाये अपने कार्टून्स के माध्यम से उन्होंने देश की दुर्दशा और भ्रष्टाचार के असर को दिखाने की कोशिश की. कई अखबारों ने इसे विरोध के एक माध्यम के रूप में दिखाया तो 'सामना' जैसे अखबार ने एक वकील की आवाज में इसके खिलाफ जहर भी उगला. कहा कि प्रतीक चिन्हों, संविधान और संसद का मजाक बनाकर संवैधानिक व्यवस्था का मजाक बनाया है. उन्होंने इसे भारतीय जनमानस की भावना को ठेस पहुँचाने वाला बताया और इसे बैन कर मुकदमा दर्ज करने की मांग की.

पहली बात ये कि कार्टूनिस्ट एक कलाकार होता है और कार्टून का अर्थ ही मजाक के रूप में अपनी बात कहना है और अगर वो विरोध करता है तो जाहिर सी बात है कार्टून के माध्यम से ही करेगा. दूसरी बात क्यों कलाकार को एक कलाकार कि दृष्टि से नहीं देखा जाता? क्यों इन कार्टून्स को सिर्फ एक विरोध के माध्यम के रूप में नहीं लिया गया? जब सब लोगों के विरोध को भ्रष्टाचार के विरोध में देखा गया तो क्यों एक कलाकार के विरोध को सीधे प्रतीकों के अपमान और जनभावना से जोड़ कर देखा गया. क्या कलाकार या कार्टूनिस्ट अपनी कला के माध्यम से विरोध या सत्य को परिलक्षित नहीं कर सकता?

अगर एक कलाकार ने भ्रष्टाचार और भ्रष्ट नेताओं के हाथों हुयी देश और देश वासियों की दुर्दशा को प्रतीक चिन्हों और संसद के रूप में दिखाने का प्रयास किया तो क्यों इसे संवैधानिक अपमान से जोड़कर देखा गया इसे विरोध के रूप में भी लिया जा सकता था. अगर बात जनभावना को ठेस पहुचने की होती तो मुझे नहीं लगता कि वहाँ पर मौजूद लोग कार्टूनिस्ट असीम को वहाँ जीवित अवस्था में रहने देते. क्योकि जहां पर बात भावना और गुस्से कि होती है तो वहां पर लोग सही गलत कि सोचने कि नौबत ही नहीं आती है. जब वहाँ पर मौजूद लोगों को ने इसे जनभावना को ठेस पहुचाने वाला नहीं समझा तो क्यों कतिपय लोग इसे जनभावना को ठेस पहुचाने वाले कार्टून के रूप में प्रचारित कर रहे हैं.

ये कोई पहली घटना नहीं है जब ऐसा किया गया है. पहले भी कई बार कलाकार को और उनकी कला को धर्म और जनभावना से जोड़कर उन्हें दबाने और कुचलने की कोशिश की है. इससे पहले गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने हरीश यादव नाम के कार्टूनिस्ट जिनका इंदौर के एक संध्या दैनिक में मुस्सविर नाम से कार्टून छपता था. उनके कार्टून को मुस्लिम धर्म से जोड़कर और खिलाफ बताकर इतनी यातनाएं दी कि वो डिप्रेशन का शिकार हो गया. दिवंगत चित्रकार एम्. ऍफ़. हुसैन को भी ऐसी ही मानसिकता से पीड़ित लोगो के वजह से देश छोड़ना पड़ा था.

इस बार भी असीम जैसे युवा कार्टूनिस्ट कि वेबसाइट कार्टून्स अगेंस्ट करप्शन को बैन करके मुंबई क्राइम ब्रांच ने इस बात पर मुहर लगा दी कि कार्टूनिस्ट या एक कलाकार के द्वारा किया गए विरोध को किस प्रकार से जनभावना और अपमान की मंशा से जोड़कर दबाने का कार्य कुछ चेहरों के माध्यम से किया जाता है जिनकी शक्लें हर कलाकार के विरोध के समय बदलती रहती हैं. जिन्हें जबरदस्ती अपमान की दृष्टि से प्रेरित बताकर प्रचारित किया जाता है.

मन मे अगर लगन हो और किसी खेल के लिये जुनून तो कोई भी चीज आपको आगे बढने से नही रोक सकती हैं. एम.एल वर्मा जी ऐसे ही जोश और जुनून के उदाहरण हैं. आज वो उज्जैन टेबल टेनिस संघ के जनरल सेक्रेटरी हैं. साथ ही एल.आई.सी से भी वो Asst. Administrative Officer के पद से रिटायर हुये हैं. वर्माजी Table Tennis के एक नेशनल Player और अपांयर भी रहे चुके हैं. एम.एल वर्मा से बात की हमारे स्पोर्टस एडिटर चिराग जोशी ने और टेबल टेनिस के करेंट सिनैरियो को जाना.

उज्जैन मे आप किस तरह से Players को ट्रेनिंग देते हैं?
मुझे खेलते हुये 40 साल हो गये हैं. मैंने सन 1982 से 1998 तक अपांयरिंग भी की हैं. Player, अपांयर और कोच के रूप मे जो मेरा अनुभव हैं उसी को ट्रेनिंग मे उपयोग करता हूं. मैं अपने घर पर ही उपर हाल मे कोचिंग देता हूं. टेबल टेनिस के खेल मे Physical Movements काफी होते हैं. मैं 40 प्रकार की exercise करवाता हूं जिससे शरीर के सारे जोड खुल जाते हैं और खेल मे कही भी Movement करना आसान हो जाता हैं. बच्चों को जब हम सिखाते हैं तो एक स्ट्रोक में कम से कम 2000 बार सुधार करवाते हैं और उसके बाद वो उस शाट मे एक्सपर्ट हो जाता हैं. उसके बाद हंमे उसमे सुधार नही करना पडता हैं.

आप कब से खेल रहे हैं और कैसे आपने यहां तक का सफर तय किया?
मैं 1972 मे जब मुझे एल.आई.सी मे नौकरी मिली तब से मैंने टेबल टेनिस खेलना शुरु किया था. मुझे इस खेल के प्रति जुनून था. मैं सुबह चार बजे उठकर 16 किलोमीटर की running करता था. उसके बाद तीन घंटे तक प्रैक्टिस करता था. मैं एक स्ट्रोक की तीन-तीन घंटे प्रैक्टिस किया करता था. मेरे पास कोई कोच नहीं था. मैंने जो सीखा हैं वो players को देखकर ही सीखा है. मेरी जब उज्जैन मे पोस्टिंग हुई तो मैं रोज शाम को 7.30 बजे इंदौर पहुचता था. वहा पर 10.30 तक प्रेक्टिस करने के बाद सुबह वापस अपनी नौकरी पर उज्जैन आता था. मेरी इसी प्रैक्टिस ने मुझे यहां तक पहुचाया हैं.

एक टेबल टेनिस Player मे क्या Qualities होनी चाहिये?
Player की आंखे गेंद पर जमी होनी चाहिये जैसा क्रिकेट, बैडमिंटन और लान टेनिस के खेल मे भी जरूरी हैं. साथ ही उसकी Physical फिटनेस भी जरुरी हैं. खेल के प्रति जूनून और लगन भी चाहिये क्योंकि एक दिन मे कोई बडा Player नही बनता हैं.

टेबल टेनिस फेडरेशन आफ India किस तरह से काम करता है ?
उनके हर राज्य मे एक सेंटर होते हैं. हर राज्य अपने अपने जिलों मे हुई प्रतियोगिताओ से Top के Players को बुलवाता हैं. वो Players राज्य स्तर पर खेलते हैं. वहां पर जो भी प्रतियोगितायें होती हैं उनसे top के Players नेशनल लेवल पर खेलते हैं और उन्हे फिर रैंकिंग के आधार पर आगे खिलाया जाता हैं.

अब तक के खेल जीवन का यादगार लम्हा कौन सा रहा है?
यह उस समय की बात है जब हम 1986 में जोनल खेलने कानपुर गये थे. मैं इंदौर की डिवीजन की टीम मे शामिल हुआ था. वहां पर क्वार्टर फाइनल मे मेरा मैच उत्तर प्रदेश के राजीव अग्रवाल से था. वो काफी अच्छा Player था. पहला सेट वो जीत चुका था. दूसरे में वो मुझसे 10-20 से आगे था. सिर्फ एक प्वाइंट, और मै गेम हार जाता. मैंने उसे 20 पर रोककर 22-20 से वो सेट जीत लिया था. उसके बाद अगले सेट मे भी वो 12-8 से आगे था. मैंने वो सेट भी जीतकर सेमीफाइनल मे प्रवेश किया था. सेमीफाइनल मे भी मैंने उत्तर प्रदेश के दीपांकर मुखर्जी को हराया था. ये दोनो गेम मुझे आजतक याद हैं.

India को टेबल टेनिस मे ओलंपिक गोल्ड जीतने में और कितना इंतजार करना पड़ सकता है?
Indiaदूसरे देशों के मुकाबले गेम्स में टेक्नोलाजी को इंट्रोड्यूस करने में काफी पीछे है. वहां Players को सभी तरह की सुविधायें दी जाती हैं. चीन, कोरिया जैसे दूसरे देशों मे एक Player को बचपन से वहां की फेडरेशन अपने पास रख लेती हैं. उसे आठ साल तक ट्रेनिंग देती हैं और साथ ही उसके परिवार को भी रहने का खर्चा देती हैं. वहां पर Players को उसकी कमियां वीडियो के जरिये बताई जाती हैं और एक Player के साथ चार कोच रहते जिससे उसे खेल की हर बारीकी के बारे मे जानने को मिलता हैं. शायद अभी टेबल टेनिस मे ओलंपिक गोल्ड मे समय लगेगा.

आइये एक दिन निकाल कर हम जिससे माफी मांगना चाहते हैं उनसे माफी भी मांगे और जिन्हे धन्यवाद देना चाहते हैं. उन्हे धन्यवाद भी दें, साथ ही विश्व शांति की कामना भी करे.

आज की इस दौड- धूप भरी जिंदगी मे अपनों के लिये समय निकालना काफी मुश्किल होता हैं. रोज हम कई लोगों से मिलते हैं. जाने अंजाने मे रोज हम या तो किसी का अपमान कर देते हैं या कोई हमारी मदद कर देता हैं. लेकिन जल्दबाजी के कारण जिसका अपमान हुआ हैं ना तो उससे माफी मांग पाते हैं ना ही उसे थैंक यू बोल पाते हैं जिसने हमारी मदद की होती है.

आए दिन हम देखते हैं कि दुनियाभर में क्राइम तेजी से बढ़ रहा है. अगर इसका कोई शल्यूशन समझ में आता है तो वह यह ही है कि हम दुनिया में प्यार बढ़ाएं.

आइये एक दिन निकाल कर हम जिससे माफी मांगना चाहते हैं उनसे माफी भी मांगे और जिन्हे धन्यवाद देना चाहते हैं. उन्हे धन्यवाद भी दें, साथ ही विश्व शांति की कामना भी करे.

Mother land is calling again. She has been bleeding since years as the giants of corruption are continuously trying to fill their stomach by selling their mother land. Some are behind the curtain and some are audaciously shitting in the society in the name of patriotism and unity.

It is said that we never get second chance in our lives to prove our worth. But we Indians are quite fortunate that we are getting a second chance to fight for our rights, to raise a voice against corruption, do become the savior of our destiny.

16 August, 2011 is now seen as a golden date in the books of history when the citizens of India Stood united with Anna Hazare for the revolutionary movement, India Against Corruption. Millions of people got involved in the faction and tried to bring a change by at least thinking about their own future which seems to be in dark, own money which is getting wasted and own trust which is being breached thousand times.

With the end of Anna’s fast in August which lasted for 13 days, the congress government had promised to bring CBI, Judiciary and Lower bureaucracy in the ambit of Jan Lokpal Bill but the report which was submitted by the Standing Committee it has excluded Prime Minister, lower bureaucracy and CBI from the ambit of Jan Lokpal Bill.

Observing the lethargic attitude of government, Anna has again decided to go on the fast and bring the movement again from the last day of parliament’s winter session.

This time Mumbai is going to witness the strength of democracy from December 27, 2011. The 74 year old revolutionist is giving you a voice to come and join hands.

आजकल एक लूंगीधारी, सरकारी वकील बड़े परेशान है. लोग कह रहे है कि आजकल उन्हें सपने में एक गाना सुनाई दे रहा है. "आजा तुझको पुकारे मेरा प्यार रे...आजा...आजा...." और ये गाने कि आवाज उन्हें तिहाड़ से सुनाई दे रही है और आवाज किसी अनजाने कि नहीं बल्कि २ जी घोटाले के राजा कि आवाज है.

मुझे इस बात पर यकीन तो नहीं हुआ लेकिन इतना जरुर है कि कनिमोझी कि बेल के बाद वो बहुत बोर हो रहे होंगे और ऊपर वाले से यही प्राथना कर रहे होंगे कि मेरे साथ इतना अन्याय क्यों मै तिहाड़ और वो दस जनपथ में क्यों? खैर ऊपर वाले ने उनकी सुन ही ली और अगर दस जनपथ को बलि कि जरुरत हुयी तो अपने परिवार और पार्टी को कलंक से बचने के लिए तो निश्चित रूप से चिदम्बरम भी संसद में साथ देने के बाद तिहाड़ में उनका साथ देंगे.

वैसे गृहमंत्री के ग्रह आज कल सही नहीं चल रहे. लेकिन २ जी घोटाले और दिल्ली में एक होटल व्यवसायी की वकालत ने उन्हें तिहाड़ के अलावा और कहीं का नहीं छोड़ा. विपक्ष ने उनका जो महिमामंडन किया है, वो समाचारों की सुर्खिया बन चुका है. उनके इस्तीफे की मांग हो रही है. ये मांग जायज भी लगती है क्योकि कोई ये नहीं चाहेगा का कि गृहमंत्रालय जैसा पद कोई भ्रष्टाचार का आरोपी संभाले.

लेकिन इन सबके बीच किसी चीज़ की बू आ रही है. कई चीजें हैं जो सवाल खड़ा करती है. पहला ये कि क्या ये मुद्दा अचानक से संसद में आया है या फिर ऐसा मुद्दा है, जिसे कभी न कभी आना था, इसलिए अभी ही क्यों न आ जाए इसलिए सरकार द्वारा जानबूझकर लाया गया है.

दरअसल ठण्ड की इस संसद सत्र में पहले 15 दिन ऍफ़ डी आई का मुद्दा छाया और संसद ठप रही. ये हर कोई जनता है कि ये ऐसा मुद्दा था जिस पर विपक्ष कभी सहमत नहीं होता. जिस पर भविष्य में भी चर्चा हो सकती थी. उसके बाद कुछ दिन लग गए लोकपाल के ड्राफ्ट को संसद में रखने में जिसे सरकारी वकील सिघवी ने ऐसा तैयार किया था कि उस पर चार दिन बयानों में ही निकल गए. संसद में क्या हो रहा है से ज्यादा सबका ध्यान इस पर रहा कि अन्ना क्या बोले? सरकार भी बयानबाज़ी में आ गए और विपक्ष भी. उसके बाद एक दिन कटा अन्ना और सभी विपक्षी दलों के साझा सांकेतिक धरने में. जिस पर भी अगले दो दिनों तक कयास और बयानबाज़ी ही चलती रही. एक दो दिन संसद में विपक्ष और सत्ता पक्ष ने कुछ चर्चा और बैठक तो कि लेकिन ये सभी जानते हैं कि अगर ये इतनी बातचीत से मसला सुलझता तो इतना बवाल ही क्यों होता? उस पर मामला अटका ही था कि अब चिदम्बरम के मामले ने संसद में हड़ताल शुरू करवा दी.

अगर सीधी बात कि जाये तो आम आदमी कि नज़र में दो बातों के लिए ज्यादा महत्वपूर्ण था. पहला महंगाई, दूसरा, लोकपाल. जिस पर देश कि नज़रे थी. लेकिन महंगाई पर कितनी चर्चा हुयी और संसद भंग हुयी ये सब जानते हैं. लोकपाल पर कितनी चर्चा हुयी ये भी साफ़ दिख गया है.

ये चीजें साफ़ करती है कि संसद लोकपाल के लिए कितनी चिंतित है. साफ़ सपष्ट होता है कि सरकार लोकपाल के मुद्दे को या तो गोलमोल घुमाना चाह रही है या फिर उसे आखिरी दिनों में एक अपंग लोकपाल के रूप में लाकर इसकी इतिश्री करना चाह रही है. वो चाहती है कि अगर एक बार उनका लोकपाल किसी भी तरह पारित हो जाये ताकि जनता से कह सके हमने कर दिया और उसके बाद अगर अन्ना आन्दोलन करते भी है तो उसे सिर्फ टीम अन्ना लोकपाल प्रचारित कर, और थोड़े बयानबाजी के साथ संभाला जा सके. नहीं संभाल पाए तो फिर एक मौका मांग लेंगे थोड़े से सुधार के लिए. अगर ऐसा नहीं होता तो राहुल गाँधी एक सांसद और कांग्रेस महासचिव पहले दिन से ही संसद में होते न कि यू पी रोड शो करके चुनाव प्रचार और बयान बाज़ी करते.अगर अन्ना ये कहते हैं कि ये राहुल का किया धरा है तो कोई गलत नहीं क्योकि वो जानते थे कि संसद में क्या होना है और लोकपाल पर कितनी बात होगी. तय प्रोग्राम के तहत संसद और राहुल अपना काम करते रहे.

कुलमिलाकर स्पष्ट होता है कि सरकारी नीतिकारो ने कमजोर विपक्ष और लोकपाल के लिए भावुक अन्ना का किस प्रकार इस्तेमाल किया है. जिसका जिक्र कभी भी किसी मीडिया और बुद्धिजीवी ने टीवी या अखबार के कॉलम में नहीं किया. शायद किसी को इस खबर पर नज़र रखने कि जरुरत महसूस नहीं हुयी.

दरअसल 2 जी घोटाले के बाद से ही कांग्रेस और प्रधानमंत्री के साथ ही भ्रष्टनेताओं के खिलाफ कोई न कोई पोस्टर और पेज इनके नाम से बन ही जाता है. जिस पर कमेन्ट करने वाले अपने तरीके से और विस्तारपूर्वक अपनी राय रख देते हैं.

कांग्रेस में शब्द-वीरों की कमी नहीं है. आये दिन कोई न कोई शब्दवीर कुछ न कुछ जरुर ऐसा बोल जाता है जिससे की मीडिया से लेकर सड़क और फेसबुक तक लोगों के लिए बातचीत का एजेंडा ही बदल जाता है. वैसे दिग्विजय सिंह और राहुल गाँधी आयेदिन कांग्रेस के शब्दवीरों के रूप में अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज करा ही देते हैं. लेकिन इस बार बहुत दिन बाद कांग्रेस के दिग्गज वकील कपिल सिब्बल शब्दवीर के रूप में दिखाई दिए हैं.

उन्होंने अपने विशुद्ध कांग्रेसी होने का परिचय देते हुए और सरकारी डंडे को दिखाकर फेसबुक से कहा है की वो आपत्तिजनक सामग्री को नियंत्रित करने के साथ हटा दे. उन्होंने कहा की अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता का अर्थ ये नहीं की वो किसी का मजाक बनाये.

उनके ऐसा कहते ही मीडिया से लेकर फेसबुक तक कपिल सिब्बल और उनका ये बयान छा गया. और परिणाम स्वरुप हुआ ये की फेसबुक से लेकर गूगल तक ने उन्हें स्पष्ट रूप से ऐसा कुछ भी करने से मना कर दिया और ये जता दिया की कपिल सिब्बल और उनके बात की अहमियत क्या है?

वैसे इस बयान को कपिल सिब्बल की कांग्रेस की स्वामिभक्ति अधिक कही जा सकती है जिस तरह से सोनिया गाँधी, राहुल गाँधी और उनके प्यारे प्रधानमंत्री मनमोहन सिंह कार्टून और पोस्टर गूगल और फेसबुक पर छाए रहते हैं. उससे कोई भी स्वामिभक्त कांग्रेसी बिदक सकता है. वो तो कपिल सिब्बल जी को कानून का कीड़ा भी काट चुका है इसलिए उन्होंने अपने पद और गरिमा के अनुरूप अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता का सहारा लिया है. वो भी ये जानते हुए कि न्यू मीडिया और खासकर फेसबुक के लिए अभिव्यक्ति कि स्वतंत्रता अपना क्या वजूद रखती है.

वैसे अगर अब बात उन कमेन्ट और पोस्टरों के बारे में की जाये तो ये कंटेंट कांग्रेस सरकार के 2 जी घोटाले के सामने आने के बाद बढे हैं. जबकि फेसबुक और गूगल इन सबसे पहले से अपना व्यवसाय चला रहे हैं और अगर अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता का इतना ख्याल था तो भारत में आने के साथ ही इन्हे अभिव्यक्ति के मायने जो कांग्रेस के अनुसार सही है बता देने चाहिए थे. दरअसल 2 जी घोटाले के बाद से ही कांग्रेस और प्रधानमंत्री के साथ ही भ्रष्टनेताओं के खिलाफ कोई न कोई पोस्टर और पेज इनके नाम से बन ही जाता है. जिस पर कमेन्ट करने वाले अपने तरीके से और विस्तारपूर्वक अपनी राय रख देते हैं.

वैसे अगर इसे लोगों की भड़ास भी कहा जा सकता है. वो लोग जो नेताओं को प्रत्यक्ष रूप से कुछ नहीं कह सकते, न जूता फ़ेंक सकते हैं और न ही थप्पड़ ही मार सकते हैं. लेकिन जिस तरह से इन्हे न्यू मीडिया में अपनी बात कहने का मौका मिलता है वो खुलकर अपना गुस्सा दिखा देते हैं. ये वो लोग हैं जो पढ़े लिखे हैं, हर छेत्र से जुड़े हैं. इनमे वकील, पत्रकार और शिक्षक भी शामिल हैं, जिन्हें अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता का अर्थ पता है. ये वो लोग हैं जो शरद पवार पर थप्पड़ पड़ने के बाद तुरंत उसे अपनी स्वीकृति दे देते हैं, कि एक ही मारा अगर हमारे तरफ से एक और मारा होता तो क्या बात होती?

वैसे कांग्रेस इसे एक फीडबैक के रूप में भी ले सकती थी, कि लोगों के मन में उनके राजकाज को लेकर क्या विचार हैं. वो इसे इस रूप में भी देख सकते थे कि देश के युवा जो फेसबुक पर बैठे हैं, कांग्रेस के परिवारवाद से ऊब चुके हैं. उन्हें राहुल गाँधी के रूप में नौसिखया युवराज नहीं चाहिए. वो इससे प्रेरणा लेकर कांग्रेस को साफ सुथरा बनाने और भ्रष्टाचार पर रोक लगाने का काम करते तो अच्छा होता.

वैसे कांग्रेस के लिए अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता का कितना सम्मान करती है वो इतिहास में आपातकाल को याद करके ज्यादा स्पष्ट होता है. उनके लिए अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता का अर्थ उनका विरोध न होने तक ही सीमित है. अगर फेसबुक पर अगर लोग सिर्फ आपस में हाय-हैलो करते और भ्रष्टाचार को अनदेखा कर देते तो शायद वो फेसबुक को अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता के प्रचार के लिए नोबेल तक देने का जुगाड़ करते. लेकिन पैसे के लालची फेसबुक को कांग्रेस से कोई मतलब नहीं इसलिए कांग्रेसी वकील नाराज हो गए.

शायद वो एफ डी आई को हरी झंडी न मिलने , महंगाई को लेकर किरकिरी होने और जन लोकपाल बिल को लेकर जन समर्थन को देखकर काफी परेशान होंगे और कुंठित भी कि दुसरे वकील मनुसिंघवी तो पोलिओ ग्रसित लोकपाल लाकर कही गाँधी परिवार के ज्यादा चहेते न बन जाये. इसलिए वो अपनी भडास फेसबुक पर निकल निकल रहे हैं ताकि गाँधी परिवार को लगे कि ये वकील भी उनका कितना शुभ चिन्तक है.वैसे अभी कपिल सिब्बल को देखकर यही कहा जा सकता है कि खिसियाये सिब्बल फेसबुक नोचे....

अभी कुछ समय से समाचारपत्रों, न्यूज़ चैनलों पर अपराध समाचार काफी बढ़ गए है. देश में बाकी सारे कार्य बाद में होते है. लेकिन अपराध पहले होता है. इन समाचारपत्रों, चैनलों में एक और खबर प्रायः हर रोज़ देखने को मिलती है जो कि मेरे हिसाब से काफी दुखद है. यह खबर होती है "विद्यार्थी आत्महत्या" की. सोचिये कि क्या यह वाकई कोई सामान्य खबर है?

छात्र छात्राओं द्वारा की गई आत्महत्या एक विकराल समस्या की तरह उभरकर आती है. एक ओर जहाँ देश में भ्रष्टाचार, दंगों या अन्य तरह की समस्याओं का सामना करने के लिए युवाओं का समर्थन माँगा जा रहा है वहीं दूसरी ओर युवाओं द्वारा आत्महत्या का कदम उठाना एक काफी बड़ी बात है. युवाओं द्वारा की गई इन आत्महत्याओं में से हम आधी से ज्यादा का कारण भी पता नहीं कर सके है.

संभवतः इसका कारण परीक्षाओं से सम्बंधित हो सकता है लेकिन सोचने लायक बात यह है की जो युवा शक्ति क्रांति लाने की हिम्मत रखती है,जो युवा शक्ति इतनी मजबूत है. जो सरकार तक को हिला दे वह युवा शक्ति क्या इतनी कमज़ोर हो सकती है की वह आत्महत्या जैसा कदम उठायेगी ?

विद्यार्थी आत्महत्या का कारण केवल परीक्षाएं ही नहीं हो सकती, इसके दूसरे कारण भी हो सकते है.देश को,सरकार को इस बारे में सकारात्मक तरीके से सोचना चाहिए की विद्यार्थी आत्महत्या दिन प्रतिदिन बढ़ क्यों रही है ?

हाल ही मे 20 सितबंर को एक आई.आई.एम बैंगलोर की छात्रा ने पंखे से लटक कर आत्महत्या कर ली थी. जांच मे पता चला के उसके बायफ्रेंड ने उसके साथ धोखा किया था.

2006 मे 6000 छात्रो ने आत्महत्या जैसा खतरनाक कदम उठाया था. तीन साल बाद भी इस आकडे मे कोई कमी नही हुई थी.

इसका एक कारण कही न कही आरक्षण भी हो सकता है क्योंकि सभी तरह का आरक्षण मिलाकर 70.53 % होता है और 29.47% पर सामान्य वर्ग को खुद से और साथ ही आरक्षित वर्ग से भी सामना करना पड़ता है. अगर आरक्षण देना ही है तो योग्यता के आधार पर देना चाहिए या जो सच में हकदार है उन्हें आरक्षण देना चाहिए फिर चाहे वह सामान्य वर्ग हो या अन्य. सबसे बड़ी चीज़ कि आरक्षण को ख़त्म करते हुए उन्हें सामान्य की तरह पढाई के अवसर, खान-पान,रहन-सहन के खर्च देकर काबिल बनाया जाये और सभी को समान अवसर देकर उनकी योग्यता को परखा जाये.

कुछ कारण और भी हो सकते है छात्र-छात्राओं कि आत्महत्या के जैसे परिवार का ज्यादा दबाव, बुरी संगत, परीक्षाओं में असफलता. समाज को इस बारे में बहुत गहरे से सोचना पड़ेगा क्योंकि विकास की तरफ तेज़ी से बढ़ रहा भारत देश अगर उतनी ही तेज़ी से युवा-शक्ति को खोता जायेगा तो वह दिन दूर नहीं जब समाज से युवा शक्ति का अस्तित्व खत्म हो जायेगा.

हाकी का IPL - वर्ल्ड सीरिज हाकी(WSH)

इंडियन प्रिमियर लीग की तरह ही 17 दिसंबर से शुरु होगा हाकी का IPL जिसका नाम है “वर्ल्ड सीरिज़ हाकी (WSH)”.

भारतीय हाकी संघ ने युवाओ मे हाकी के प्रति इंटरेस्ट बढाने के लिये इसका आयोजन कर रही हैं.

आठ टीमो के बीच खेली जाने वाली ये सीरीज 17 दिसंबर 2011 से शुरु हो कर 22 जनवरी 2012 तक चलेगी. हर टीम मे 25 खिलाडी रहेंगे, जिनमे से 18 को वो खिला सकती हैं. बाकी 7 रिजर्व खिलाडी रहेंगे. सारे मैच 7 मिनट के होंगे. परंतु 2 हाफ की जगह साढे सत्रह मिनट के चार क्वाटर होंगे जिससे खिलाडियो को आराम भी मिलेगा और साथ ही स्पोंसर्स को भी फायदा होगा.

आठ टीमे भारत के आठ शहर का प्रतिनिधित्व करेगी.

भारत के नौ शहरों मे खेली जाने वाली इस सीरिज मे 61 मैच होंगे. हर टीम 14 मैच खेलेगी लीग दौर मे जिनमे से 7 उसे अपने शहर मे और 7 दूसरे शहरों मे खेलने होंगे. लीग दौर मे 56 मैच होंगे जो 15 जनवरी तक चलेंगे.

लीग की चार top टीमें सेमिफाईनल मे प्रवेश करेगी. लीग मे पहले स्थान पर रहने वाली टीम लीग मे चौथे स्थान पर रहने वाली टीम से और दूसरे स्थान की टीम तीसरे स्थान पर रहने वाली टीम से खेलेगी.

जो टीम लीग मे दूसरी टीम से उपर रहेगी उसे अपने शहर मे सेमीफाइनल खेलने को मिलेगा.

फाईनल “बेस्ट आफ थ्री” की तर्ज पर होगा. जिसमे 2 मैच उस टीम के शहर मे होंगे जो टीम लीग मे दुसरी टीम से आगे रहेगी.

नौ शहर जहा ये सीरिज खेली जायेगी वो इस प्रकार हैं:-

17 दिसम्बर 2011 को नई दिल्ली के मेजर ध्यानचंद स्टेडियम मे इस सीरिज का उदघाटन होगा. धनराज पिल्लै और विरेन रस्किन्हा जैसे भारत के पूर्व खिलाडी भी इस सीरिज मे फिर हाकी खेलते हुये देखने को मिलेगा.

सभी को पूरी उम्मीद हैं के ये सीरीज भारतीय हाकी के लिये एक वरदान साबित होगी. लोगों मे और खासकर युवाओं मे भारतीय हाकी के प्रति रुझान बढेगा. भारतीय हाकी को फिर से विश्व पटल पर उसी स्तर पे लाने मे ये जरुर सहयोग करेगी.

ईडन गार्डेन पर खेलना कई भारतीय क्रिकेट खिलाड़ियों का सपना रहता हैं. मेरा भी सपना था क्यूंकि ईडन गार्डेन मेरा फैवरेट मैदान भी हैं. मैंने उस मैच मे अच्छा प्रदर्शन किया था. पहली पारी मे 3 विकेट लिये थे और इसलिये मैं इसे अपना लकी ग्राउंड मानता हूं.

सचिन तेंडूलकर को आउट करने का सपना तो हर गेंदबाज़ देखता हैं पर उन्हे जीरो पर आउट करने का आइडिया सबके मन मे नही आता है. कुछ ही ऐसे गेंदबाज हैं जिन्होने अब तक यह कारनामा किया है. उन्ही मे से एक हैं भुवनेश्वर कुमार. उत्तर प्रदेश के इस मध्यम गति के स्विंग गेंदबाज़ ने 2008 के रणजी फाइनल मे सचिन को शून्य पर आउट किया था. सचिन पहली बार घरेलू क्रिकेट मे शून्य पर आउट हुये थे. यूपी के इस उभरते सितारे से बात की हमारे स्पोर्ट्स एडिटर चिराग जोशी ने और जाना कि आखिर एक क्रिकेटर गली मुहल्ले की क्रिकेट को ईडेन गार्डेन के इंटरनेशनल ग्राउंड तक कैसे पहुचाता है. एक रिपोर्ट:-

एक बार ब्रैड हाग ने सचिन को आउट करने के बाद सचिन से गेंद पर आटोग्राफ मांगा था. सचिन ने गेंद पर लिखा दिया था” ‘this will never happen again’ (ये अब कभी नही होगा) और आज तक वो फिर से सचिन का विकेट नही ले पाये हैं. क्या आपकी बात हुई उसके बाद सचिन से कभी इस बारे मे?

हर क्रिकेटर की तरह मैंने भी काफी लंबे समय से सचिन के साथ खेलने का सपना संजो रखा था. यह चाहे फिर उनके खिलाफ ही क्यो ना खेलना हो. उस मैच में सचिन आउट हो कर पवेलियन चले गए थे. मैं बाद में उनसे मिलने पहुचा था पर मुलाकात नहीं हो पाई. उसके बाद से कोई मौका ही नही आ पाया कि सचिन से बात हो पाती. और शायद आऊट होना तो किसी भी बल्लेबाज़ को अच्छा नही लगता हैं.

जब आप सचिन को गेंद करने जा रहे थे तो सीनियर खिलाड़ियों ने क्या कहा और आपके दिमाग मे क्या चल रहा था?

मैंने सिर्फ इतना सोचा था के मैं अपनी स्ट्रेंथ पर गेंद करुंगा. सीनियर खिलाडियों ने मेरा उस वक्त काफी हौसला बढाया था. इससे मुझे काफी मदद भी मिली थी.

प्रवीण कुमार आर.पी.सिंह आपके ही स्टेट यूपी से हैं. इनसे क्या सीखने को मिलता हैं?

काफी सिखने को मिलता हैं, किस तरह से आगे बढ़ना हैं. गेंदबाजी मे क्या सुधार करना हैं. इंटरनेशनल लेवल पर किस तरह से गेंदबाजी करनी चाहिये और वहां पहुचने के लिये तैयारी कैसे की जाए, ये सारी बातें हमें सीनियर प्लेयर्स ही बताते हैं.

भारत की पिचों पर तेज गेंदबाजो को मदद कम मिलती हैं और जहां तक स्विंग की बात करे तो वो भी यहां काफी मुश्किल है. इस स्थिति मे आप अपने आप को मोटिवेट कैसे करते हो?

हां कई बार होता हैं जब पिच से कोई मदद नही मिलती हैं. उस वक्त बस विकेट टू विकेट गेंदबाजी करना होता हैं और जैसा मैंने कहा के सीनियर प्लेयर्स काफी मदद करते हैं तो ऐसे मौकों पर उनकी टिप्स हमेशा काफी काम आती हैं.

आई.पी.एल मे आपने कई इंटरनेशल प्लेयर्स को बालिंग कराई थी. उन्हे गेंदबाजी करने में और घरेलू खिलाडीयो को गेंदबाजी करने में आप क्या अन्तर महसूस करते हैं. क्या ऐसा भी कोई समय आया कि आप को लगा कि इस बल्लेबाज को बाल कराना काफी मुश्किल है?

इंटरनेशनल प्लेयर्स के पास अनुभव काफी ज्यादा होता हैं. साथ ही उन्हे गेंदबाजी करना एक अच्छी लर्निंग होती है. लेवल का डिफरेंस भी था वहां पर और जहां तक मुश्किल की बात हैं तो ऐसा कभी नहीं लगा. आप किसी भी बल्लेबाज को आउट कर सकते हो, बस आपको अच्छी गेंदबाजी करनी होती हैं. वहां पर सिर्फ आपकी गेंदबाजी मैटर करती हैं.

ईडन गार्डेन पर आपने अपना पहला घरेलू मैच खेला था. कैसा अनुभव रहा आपका वहां खेलने का?

जिस तरह उमेश यादव और ऐरोन के पास स्पीड है. क्या एक तेज गेंदबाज के लिये स्पीड स्विंग से ज्यादा मायने रखती हैं?

नही ऐसा नही हैं, हर गेंदबाज का गेंदबाजी करने का स्टाईल होता हैं. उमेश और ऐरोन स्पीड से गेंदबाजी करते हैं. मेरे लिये स्विंग काफी मैटर करता है. सब कुछ इस बात पर डिपेंड करता है कि आप किस तरह से गेंदबाजी करते हैं और आपकी स्ट्रेंथ क्या है.

आप एक अच्छे बल्लेबाज हैं. घरेलू मैचों में आपने छ: अर्धशतक लगाये हैं. क्या आपको लगता है कि आपकी बल्लेबाजी आपके भारतीय टीम मे चयन मे मददगार रहेगी?

मै एक आलराऊंडर के तौर पर टीम मे खेलता हूं. जब आप गेंदबाजी मे अच्छा करते हो तो वो बल्लेबाजी मे फायदा मिलता हैं और जब आप बल्लेबाजी मे अच्छा करते हो तो गेंदबाजी मे आत्मविश्वास बढता हैं. अब तक के करियर मे मेरे लिये ये काफी फायदेमंद रहा हैं.

आपको कब लगा कि आपको क्रिकेटर ही बनना है?

बचपन से शौक था क्रिकेट खेलने का, उस वक्त क्रिकेटर बनने के बारे में कभी नहीं सोचा था. फिर जब अंडर-19 मे सेलेक्शन हुआ और वहां अच्छा खेला तो लगा कि मैं क्रिकेटर बन सकता हूं.

गेंदबाजी और बल्लेबाजी मे आपका आईडियल कौन हैं?

आईडियल जैसा कुछ हैं नही पर बचपन से प्रवीण कुमार के साथ खेला हूं. हमेशा उनसे ही सिखा हैं. जब भी परेशानी आती हैं उनसे ही बात करता हूं. उनका और मेरा गेंदबाजी का अंदाज भी एक जैसा हैं.
बल्लेबाजी मे मेरा नेचुरल अंदाज हैं. खेलने का कभी आईडियल नही माना किसी को, बस सचिन की बल्लेबाजी काफी पसंद आती हैं.

कितनी जल्दी खुद को भारतीय टीम मे देखना चाहेंगे?

हर कोई जो भारत मे क्रिकेट खेलता हैं वो भारतीय टीम मे खेलना चाहता हैं. जल्दी या देरी जैसी कोई बात नहीं है. बस अपना अच्छा प्रदर्शन करना हैं. बाकी चयनकर्ताओ पर निर्भर करता हैं.

यहां तक पहुचने का श्रेय किसे देंगे?

यहां तक पहुचने का श्रेय मैं अपने माता पिता और दीदी को देना चाहता हूं. जब पहली बार स्टेडियम मे गया था तब मै काफी छोटा था. तब मेरी दीदी मुझे खेलने ले गई थी. ये ऐसा लम्हा हैं जो हमेशा मुझे याद रहेगा. साथ ही मेरे कोच विपिन और संजय रस्तोगी को भी मे इसका श्रेय देना चाहूंगा उन्होने जो भी मुझे सिखाया हैं. उसी की बदौलत यहाँ तक पहुचा हूं.

नये खिलाड़ियों के लिये आपके सुझाव?

क्रिकेट एक ऐसा खेल हैं जिसमे काफी उतार चढाव आते हैं. तो इतना कहना चाहूंगा कि आप अपना फोकस हमेशा खेल पर ही रखें और अपनी ओर से मेहनत करना बन्द न करें.

आप अपना खाली वक्त किस तरह बिताते हैं?

गाने सुनता हूं और दोस्तों के साथ घूमता हूं.

आपका पसंदीदा सिंगर कौन है?

सोनू निगम के गाने मुझे काफी अच्छे लगते हैं. उनके एलबम का गाना ‘चंदा की डोली”’ मुझे काफी पसंद हैं.

अब तक का यादगार पल?

सचिन को आऊट करना अब तक का सबसे यादगार पल रहा हैं. उस मैच मे 5 विकेट भी लिये थे साथ मे 80 रन भी बनाये थे तो वो मैच मुझे अब तक याद हैं.

Dev Anand, ‘Dharam Dev Pishori Anand’, The “Guide” of Indian Cinema who took the entertainment industry to its epitome by his acting skills and poise left the world of charisma at the age of 88 today as he suffered from the cardiac arrest.

‘Har Firkra Ko Dhuein Mein Udata hua’, the Jewel Thief stole away the hearts of the populace. His famous style of delivering the dialogues in a fast pace and nodding while giving the dialogues was his trademark. Dev Sahab’s movies not only gave a taste of entertainment but also gave certain educating messages related to the social issues.

Born on September 26, 1923, Anand Sahab was a native of Punjab and started his career with just Rs. 200 in the Military Censor Office Churchgate Mumbai and made his debut as an actor in the movie ‘Hum Ek Hain’ in 1946.

With blockbusters such as Guide, Vidya, Jeet, Do Sitare, Sanam, Aandhiyaan, Nau Do Gyarah, Aawara and Bombai Ka Babu, Dev Anand proved the talent of his acting with his co- actresses namely Suraiyaa. Nutan and Waheeda Rehman.

He got his first Filmfare award for best actor for the film ‘Kala Pani’ released in 1958.
Along with the masters of reel life such as Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand ruled the the Bollywood empire in late 50’s and 60’s.

He shared a great friendship with Guru Dutt Sahab, another versatile legendry actor of the Indian Cinema and both decided to help each other through out their career.

He made his directorial debut in the industry from the flick , ‘Prem Pujar’ although it was a flop but he never stopped and continued his effort with ‘hare Rama Hare Krishna’ staring Zeenat Aman and Mumtaaz in Tere Mere Sapne. Dev Anand has an image of ‘Ever Green’ star among his co- actresses namely Parveen Babi, Rakhee, Hema Malini and Zeenat Aman.

Dev Anad has also been politically active. He actively participated in the campaign against Prime Minister Indira Gandhi against Internal Emergency, along with his supporters in Indian Parliamentary elections in 1997.

Dev Sahab has directed 19 films and produced 31 films out of which seven directorial endeavor and 18 films were a super duper hit at the Box Office.

Legendry Music director’s such as Shankar- Jaikishen , O.P Nayyar, Kalyan ji- Anand Ji, Sachin Dev Burman and Rahul Dev Burman gave music in his films which was adored and praised by the audience and even till now the tracks are creating the inferno.
In the year 2007 his own autobiography was released and his movie ‘Hum Dono’ was digitzed and colorized and released.

Dev Anand got the honor of Padam Bhushan Award in the year 2001, Dada Sahab Phalke Award in the year 2010 and also backed international honors like “Star of the Millenium” in the Silicon Valley, California in the year 2000 and was honored at the hands of the then First Lady Of the United States Of America, Hillary Rodham Clinton for his ‘Outstanding Contribution to Indian Cinema’ in the year 2000.

The ‘Evergreen Romantic Superstar’ of the Indian Cinema will always remain as a Guiding star and motivation for the upcoming talents in the entertainment industry. Dev Sahab will live in the crimson island of his millions of fans forever.

Kohli, is a typical modern day cricketer, who is aggressive but plays with a sense of maturity.

He is the new Rescue, the Sankatmochan Man for India. In present scenario he is the deserving player to take the famous number 3 place in test for India, which is currently held by Rahul Dravid, “The WALL”.

Virat kohli was born on November 5, 1988, and had love for Cricket from his childhood. He was the captain of the victorious Team India in 2008 Under-19 World Cup in Malaysia. He batted at number 4 in that tournament and scored 235 runs in 6 matches with an average of 47, including a century against West Indies.

Kohli has already played and still plays for Delhi in Ranji Trophy. He first came into spotlight in a Ranji Trophy, in a match against Karnataka team where he batted on the day of his father’s death. He said he wants to bat and he scored crucial 90 runs in that inning.

In 2009 he was selected for emerging player’s tournament in Australia. In that tournament he played superbly and scored a century in the final against South Africa.After this performance he was selected in ODI squad for India’s Tour of Srilanka.

Kohli has always emerged as a savior when the team had been in the diehard need of him.

It was 107 runs inning against Srilanka ,when Gautam Gambhir and Kohli made a record partnership of 224 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata to chase the mammoth total of 315 and that win gave India an unbeatable lead of 3-1 in that series.

His 102 runs against Bangladesh, 82 runs against Srilanka, 118 runs against Australia were the innings that proved that he is a Sankatmochan Man (The Rescue Man) for India in the worst conditions.

His determination, attitude and love towards game help him to do give such grand performances. He is the first Indian who scored a century in a world cup debut match .He made 100 not out against Bangladesh.

From January 2009 till September 2011 he was second highest run scorer in the team in One Day Internationals. He made 1994 runs with an average of 47. He stands at the third position in the league of highest run scorers in ODI matches this year. He scored 1138 runs in 29 matches with an average of 45.52, including 3 centuries and 7 half centuries.

Shane Watson of Australia is at number 2 with 1139 runs and Jonathan Trott of England is at number 1 position with 1315 runs. Kohli is the third batsman to score 2 centuries in ODI before the age of 22, only tendulkar and raina reached this landmark before kohli.

He made his test debut against West Indies on its soil. He didn’t perform well on this tour and question was raised on his performance, stating that he is not mature enough to play in the test cricket.

Kohli clarified everyone’s doubt who made objection on the style he adapts by hitting 2 half centuries against West Indies in the last test match at Wankhede stadium, Mumbai.

Kohli is an emerging young cricketer and a bright face of Indian Cricket team in the near future. He performs whenever he gets a chance and now we wish he continues to give his best performances on the Australian tour from December 15.

The dirty picture जैसा कि नाम बताता है काफी dirty है भी... "यथा नाम तथा गुन" सो इसमें आश्चर्यचकित होने कि बात नहीं,अगर आपने अपने जीवन में बी ग्रेड फिल्मो मैं रूचि राखी है तो ये फिल्म आपको और भी लुभा सकती है. पर B grade की बातों से हट के हम इस चलचित्र की बात करते है. रेशमा दक्खिन के किसी गाँव कि रहने वाली एक फिल्म फैन है. वो एक फिल्म स्टार बनाना चाहती है और हजारों और लडकियों की तरह स्टार बनने घर छोड़ कर भाग पड़ती है मद्रास ...अपने सपनो का शहर.

साधारण व्यक्तित्व, नाक नक्श को देख के वो ठुकराई जाती है पर उसकी लगन एक दिन उसे एक गाने में एक साइड डांसर का रोल दिला देता है. रोल एक कोड़े मरने वाली कन्या का था जो रेशमा बखूबी निभाती भी है और उसे इतना भड़काऊ बना देती है कि फिल्म का director भड़क जाता है और scenes फिल्म से काट देता है फिल्म रिलीज़ तो होती है पर फ्लॉप. फिल्म के निर्माता सिल्वागनेश को पता चलता है कि एक ऐसा गाना था जो फिल्म से निकाल दिया गया था निश्चय करता है कि वो दोबारा प्रिंट रिलीज़ करेगा इस गाने के साथ फिल्म को ज़बरदस्त सफलता मिलती है और सिल्वा गणेश घर जाने कि तैयारी में लगी रेशमा को ढूँढता हुआ उसे अपनी अगली फिल्म में रोल देने के साथ उसको एक नाम देता है सिल्क ... और शुरू हुआ एक उफनती हुई जवान, मदमस्त, कमसिन हसीना का दौर जो बवंडर की तरह आया और क्या स्टार, सुपर स्टार क्या निर्माता निर्देशक सबको उड़ा के ले गया.

मिलन लुथरिया और रजत अरोरा once upon a time की जोड़ी फिर से रंगीन रंग लाई और विद्या बालन छा गयीं. उन्होंने अपनी अदाकारी मैं एक और सितारा जड़ दिया. ये उनकी फिल्मो में एक मील का पत्थर होगा. नसीरुद्दीन शाह अपनी ढलती जवानी के दिनों के सुपरस्टार हैं पर ये रोल उनपे खूब फबता है. इमरान हाश्मी और तुषार भी अपने किरदारों में फिट नज़र आते हैं. कुल मिला कर फिल्म एक मनोरंजक फिल्म है पर साथ ही यह adult फिल्म का दर्ज़ा देने लायक फिल्म भी है.

ये एक पारिवारिक फिल्म कतई नहीं है पर चूँकि ये एक बी grade स्टार के सम्बन्ध में है सो भोंडापन और नग्नता दोनों का होना लाज़मी है. फिल्म का म्यूजिक फिल्म को काफी सहारा देता है पर "इश्क सूफियाना " गलत जगह रक्खा गया है और वो अच्छी खासी चलती हुई रोमांचक फिल्म को झटका देता है, अच्छा गाना पर गलत जगह. बाकी सब फिट , 10 में से 7.5 अंक बनते ही हैं फिल्म अवश्य देखे पर बच्चों या माँ बाप के साथ नहीं.

Government has approved a full-fledged centre in NIFT Raebareli

The total cost involved is Rs.94.22 crore including Rs. 59.72 crore for construction by ITI and Rs.34.50 crore for academic support, academic infrastructure, interiors, rentals, etc.

The Union Cabinet has approved setting up of a full fledged permanent Centre of National Institute of Fashion Technology at Raebareli. The details are as follows:

(i) Construction of a permanent Centre of NIFT at Raebareli by ITI Ltd. on 11.46 acres of land taken on lease from ITI Ltd. instead of NTC land as approved by the Cabinet earlier.

(ii) ITI Ltd. will provide built-up space, as per the designs approved by NIFT, on lease to NIFT for running the permanent NIFT Centre. NIFT will enter into an agreement with ITI for lease to be renewed periodically and the rentals on mutually agreed terms between NIFT/Ministry of Textiles and Indian Technology Institute.

(iii) A revised outlay of Rs.94.22 crore as against earlier outlay of Rs.62.35 crore approved by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs in January 2007 (Rs.12.25 crore for temporary campus) and by the Cabinet in November 2077 (Rs.50.10 crore for permanent campus).

(iv) Out of the revised outlay as above, providing Rs.59.72 crore (Plan) directly to ITI Ltd. for construction of buildings for the permanent centre of NIFT as one-time grant in aid to be released when ITI has obtained all statutory approvals and to be kept in a dedicated project fund to be used for this purpose only.

(v) Providing Rs.34.50 crore (Rs.30.50 crore (Plan) and Rs.4.00 core (Non-Plan) to NIFT through Ministry of Textiles ( including the grant already released from the existing outlay), out of the revised outlay of Rs.94.22 crore.

The total cost involved is Rs.94.22 crore including Rs. 59.72 crore for construction by ITI and Rs.34.50 crore for academic support, academic infrastructure, interiors, rentals, etc. Earlier an amount of Rs.62.35 crore was approved for the Raebareli Centre. Thus an additional amount of Rs.31.8 crore has been approved by the Cabinet.

The infrastructure and other facilities at the permanent Centre would ease pressure on existing Delhi NIFT Centre and minimise the regional mismatch between the number of seats available and the number of applicants based on present locations of NIFT Centres. The centre would benefit a large number of students from Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring states who aspire to join courses conducted by NIFT.

250 students are availing the opportunity for studying in professional courses in the above mentioned courses. Upon the full fledged centre becoming operational, the student strength will increase upto approximately more than 550 students.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) was set up by the Ministry of Textiles in the year 1986 as an autonomous body under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. NIFT has been accorded statutory status through an Act called ‘National Institute of Fashion Technology Act, 2006’. It is now empowered to award degrees and other academic distinctions. NIFT has 15 Centres at present located at New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kannur, Patna, Kangra, Gandhinagar, Bangalore, Bhopal, Shillong, Raebareli, Bhubaneswar and Jodhpur. These Centres admit about 2180 students every year.

The Raebareli NIFT Centre had become operational from August, 2007, with two 4-year degree courses in Fashion Design & Accessory Design in a temporary Centre on land belonging to ITI. From 2011 Session, another course in Leather Design has been started in the Centre.

The Cabinet had decided in November 2077 to set up a full-fledged permanent Centre in place of an extension Centre at Raebareli. This was to be done on NTC land. However, this could not become possible and hence it has been approved to convert the existing temporary Centre into a permanent one on 11.46 acres of land provided by ITI. ITI will get the Centre constructed and give it to NIFT on lease.

अगर यो कुछ दिन और ऐसे मज़े मारते गया तो वो दिन दूर नहीं की सारे आतंकवादी यही सोचकर ताज, ताजमहल और दस जनपथ उड़ाने लगे कि मियां हिन्दुस्तान कि आर्थर जेल जैसी जन्नत और किस जिहाद मे? मरना तो है ही. जब तक राजनीति होगी मुर्गा और सुरक्षा मिलेगी ही और लटकने का नंबर भी बुढ़ापे मे आवेगा.

मोहल्ले की चाय की दुकान की बात ही कुछ और होती है. कुछ न कुछ मसाला मिल ही जाता है सुनने को. कल चाय पीते हुए बगल वाले पंडित जी कहने लगे कि-"लगता है राजयोग है इस कसाब का और लगता क्या मै दावे से कह सकता हूँ की ये राजयोगधारी आतंकवादी है. भला इतने बड़े आतंकवादी को सरकार ऐसे थोड़े ही दामाद बनाकर करोड़ों रुपये फूँक रही है? नहीं तो देश मे गरीबों की संख्या थोड़े ही कम हो गयी है की वो इस तरह पैसे बर्बाद करे? कुंडली भले न हो मेरे पास इसकी लेकिन लक्षण पूरे राजयोग वाले हैं इसके. वैसे भैया अगर कहीं से इसके जनम की तिथि और जानकारी मिल जाती तो हमारी लाइफ भी सेट हो जाती. सीधे कुंडली लेकर सबसे तेज़ चैनल पहुँचते और स्टूडियो मे बैठकर साबित कर देते कि देखो अद्भुत राजयोग वाला है ये कसाब. फिर ये तो हिट है ही इसके साथ चैनल भी हिट और हम भी."

"अरे! छोड़िये पंडित जी अपनी पंडिताई जरा भगवान् के नाम का ही लिहाज़ कर लीजिये. जब देखो कुंडली के नाम पर अपना पेट देखते हैं. ये राजयोग का नहीं सत्तायोग का कमाल है." समाजसेवी पाण्डेय जी तपाक से बोले. १७५ लोग मरे थे पूरे. सबको कुल मिलाकर साढ़े तेरह करोड़ का मुआवजा दिया गया था जिसमे भी ७ परिवार ने लेने से मना कर दिया था. और यहाँ अकेले कसाब के ही खातिरदारी और आराम मे ३ सालों मे ५० करोड़ का खर्चा आ गया. अब बताओ डेढ़ करोड़ तो उसके सर्दी-जुखाम और बीमारी पर ही खर्च हो गए और यहाँ इलाज का खर्च सुनते ही दूसरी बीमारी पकड़ लेती है. आज के अखबार मे लिखा है कि कसाब चिकन का शौक़ीन है और महीने के खाने का खर्चा ही २७,५२० रुपये आता है. अब बताओ ये सत्ताधारी खुद तो टैक्स देंगे नहीं और हमारे टैक्स के पैसे से ही इन्हे खिलाएंगे. हमने तो ख्वाब मे भी नहीं सोचा कभी खाने के ऐसे खर्चे के बारे मे.

" अरे जनाब इतना ही नहीं!...इतने जवान तो उसको पकड़ने मे भी नहीं लगाये गए थे जितने कि उसकी सुरक्षा मे लगा दिए हैं." सेवानिवृत मेजर साहब भी कड़कती आवाज मे बोल पड़े. अब क्या हम इसलिए आर्मी मे थोड़े ही भर्ती होते हैं कि देश की बजाय इनकी सुरक्षा करे. २०० जवान कम नहीं होते एक आदमी की सुरक्षा के लिए. वो भी एक स्पेशल सेल मे जिसे बनाने मे ५ करोड़ खर्च हो गए. अरे मेरे हाथ मे होता तो पकड़ते ही गोली मार देता. अब तो पकिस्तान भी कह रहा है लटका दो उसे. फिर भी देखो न जाने कितना पैसा है सरकार के पास कि बहाए जा रही है, इसमे महंगाई नहीं दिखती.

तभी बगल मे बैठे नाई कि आवाज आयी. अरे मियां मै तो कह रहा हूँ की अगर यो कुछ दिन और ऐसे मज़े मारते गया तो वो दिन दूर नहीं की सारे आतंकवादी यही सोचकर ताज, ताजमहल और दस जनपथ उड़ाने लगे कि मियां हिन्दुस्तान कि आर्थर जेल जैसी जन्नत और किस जिहाद मे? मरना तो है ही. जब तक राजनीति होगी मुर्गा और सुरक्षा मिलेगी ही और लटकने का नंबर भी बुढ़ापे मे आवेगा. हमसे पहले वैसे भी कसाब भाईजान और न जाने कितने हैं?

ये सुनकर ही चायवाला, पंडित जी, समाजसेवी और मेजर साहब हंसने लगे और मै भी मुस्कुराते हुए चाय कि चुस्की के साथ हर वर्ष की तरह २६-११ के गुनाहगारों को कब मिलेगी सजा वाली खबर पर नज़र दौड़ाने लगा.

Age difference could be a reason for divorces or an excuse for infidelity

There are examples of many marriages which are successful and prosperous despite the age difference between the partners. Sachin Tendulkar is an ideal example in this matter.

Marriage is an institution; it is the union of a man and a woman from two different homes to live together as one. To some extent, we can say that successful marriages lead to a good society, which in turn will lead to a good nation and a good world.

Age difference in marriages has its own pros and cons. A large age difference leads to incompatibility issues. This happens because both the partners are of different perceptions and both have different needs. Their priorities are different and this leads to inexorable conflicts. Because of such issues, the partners, more often than not, look for friends and may get involved in an extra-marital affair. This ultimately leads to divorces and unsuccessful marriages.

If the partners are from the same field and at different career stage, they might end up with disputes and ego clashes because of frustration and envy. This forces, the partners to part ways and live separately.

However, any relationship can be successful, if there’s a will to keep it fruitful and blossoming.

There are examples of many marriages which are successful and prosperous despite the age difference between the partners. Sachin Tendulkar is an ideal example in this matter.

A favorable age difference can lead to a mature relationship, where both partners help each other understand the challenges of life and are extremely supportive to each other. They do not let the excuse of age difference and incompatibility issues break their relationship. Just like a famous quote says, “No relationship is perfect. It is made perfect”. In the same way, two people should be strong enough to make their marriage work.

‘आओ तुम्हे चांद पे ले जाये’” और हां ‘“चलते चलते मेरे ये गीत याद रखना”’,‘के “जलता हैं जिया मेरा भीगी रातो में’ क्योंकि ‘आए “एम अ डिस्को डांसर’ ‘जिंदगी मेरा गाना”’ और ‘“यार बिना चैन कहा रे’”, ‘फिर भी “लोग कहते हैं मैं शराबी हूं’” पर ‘जिंदगी हैं एक जुआ खेलता जा खेलता जा बाजीयो पे बाजी’” क्योंकी “’शोला हैं या हैं बिजूरिया.... बबंई नगरीया’” इसिलिये ‘बस गाये जा “ऊ ला ला ऊ ला ला तू हैं मेरी फैंटेसी’ “

ये वो गीत हैं जिनमे बप्पी दा की आवाज अथवा संगीत या दोनों का जादू हैं.

27 नवबंर 1952 को जन्मे बप्पी को संगीत की तालीम घर से ही मिली. उनके पिताजी अपरेश लहरी एक मशहूर बंगाली गायक थे. उनकी माताजी बंसरी लहरी भी एक अच्छी संगीतकार रही हैं.

बप्पी दा ने तीन साल की उम्र से ही तबला बजाना शुरू कर दिया था. 19 साल की उम्र मे उन्हे पहली बार सन् 1972 मे एक बंगाली फिल्म दादू मे संगीत देने का मौका मिला.

बालीवुड मे उनका आगमन सन 1973 मे हुआ जब उन्होने नन्हा शिकारी में संगीत दिया. बप्पी दा का जादू तो 1975 मे आयी फिल्म ‘जख्मी’ में दिखा. इस फिल्म में उन्होने संगीत देने के साथ ही फिल्म के गाने भी गाये.
“’आओ तुम्हे चांद पे ले जाये’“, “’जलता हैं जीया मेरा भीगी भीगी रातों मे’” उस फिल्म के मशहूर गाने हैं. बप्पी दा ने इस फिल्म मे “ Nothing is Impossible गाना किशोर दा और मोहम्मद रफी के साथ गाया था.

“चलते चलते मेरे ये गीत याद रखना ..कभी अलविदा ना कहना” गीत को किशोर दा के कारण जाना जाता हैं. पर इस गीत का संगीत बप्पी दा ने दिया था.

सन 1980 मे आयी डिस्को डांसर ने बप्पी दा को एक अलग पहचान दी, इस फिल्म के जरिये बालीवुड मे डिस्को का आगमन हुआ और उसके बाद से उन्हे डिस्को किंग कहा जाने लगा. बप्पी दा ने मिथुन की कई फिल्मो मे संगीत दिया और गाया भी, जब दलाल फिल्म का ‘चढ गया उपर रे अटरीया पे’” गीत आया था तो हर इसकी धूम मची हुई थी. इस फिल्म मे भी मिथुन ने अभिनय किया था.

इसके बाद बप्पी दा ने एक बाद एक हिट गाने दिये और उन्हे सन 1984 मे फिल्म ‘शराबी’के लिये बेस्ट संगीतकार का फिल्मफैयर का अवार्ड मिला.

26/11: Where is the Justice?

On the eve of third anniversary of 26/11, Indian Media puts some light on the progress of justice and the verdict which has to be given in the case of terror attacks.

It’s the third anniversary of 26/11 Mumbai Blasts today. Terror attacks India has always created bloodshed, people have lost the economic and mental stability and, kids have been killed and violence has raised a question that are we going to get peaceful environment ever to spend our lives in.

Three years after the disastrous blasts of 26/11, what we have as the end result is number of debates discussing the politicization of terror attacks across the country and at global level and the failure to face the terror challenges by the government and institution which are fighting against corruption.

The justice still lies in a halt. It has been three years and still the investigative system and the Judiciary of India is not able to take a stand. Who is at the fault? The investigative systems, Politicians or the terrorists. Since three years we have been watching debates and shows raising the issues of terror attacks and disclosing the fact that still the conditions are not under control.

On the eve of third anniversary of 26/11, Indian Media puts some light on the progress of justice and the verdict which has to be given in the case of terror attacks.

Two most popular debate shows, one being “The Newshour” on TimesNow and “We the people” on NDTV carried the debate of terror attacks relating it with the approach the government is taking in solving the issues.

With the panelist including Mahroof Raja, Strategic Affairs Analyst, K.C Singh former Secretary MEA, G Parathasarthy, Former High Commissioner to Pakistan, Anees Jilani, Colomnist and Supreme Court lawyer, Major General (Rt.) Rashid Qureshi and Tahira Abdullah, Human Rights Activists, the Editor in Chief, Arnab Goswami, takes the debate ahead.

The Newshour focuses its pinnacle on the liberties which are being given to the highly renowned terrorists such as ‘Zaki Ur Rehman Lakhvi’( responsible for 26/11 blasts), such as usage of Mobile phones in the jail and Pakistani Government being very unenthusiastic and unconcerned to ponder on the issues of the liberties given to terrorist. It also puts light on the inefficiency of Pakistan to have a check on the roots of terrorism which is the cause of most of the terror attacks.

One of the panelists from Pakistan, Tahira Abdullah, mentions that the issue of terrorism is not only confined to the usage to cell phones by the convicts rather the issues of Kashmir should also be taken into the consideration, taking the debate totally out of the track.

The usage of mobile phones by the terrorist was roofed with the excuse that they fall in the list of influential people. The debate questioned the willingness of Pakistan to deal with the issues of terrorism, being giving the defense that there are not much evidences given by government of Indian to act on.

Talking about the other debate, “We the people” carried on NDTV by the Group Editor, Barkha Dutt, discusses the issue of Malegaon blasts of 2006. The debate focuses on the errors which are being detected in the tackling of Terror attacks.

Slightly the debate questions on the credibility of Police investigations and their workings as seven men out of nine, who were accused of the Malegaon blast, walk out on the bail after 5 years and still they have not got the clean chit.

The debate questions the trustworthiness of the investigative agencies as they first make suspicion on the some people and then take a U turn for their own claims. Most of the blast cases such as Macca Masjid case, Ajmer blasts and the Malegaon blast case remain unsolved.

M.N Singh, Former Mumbai Police Commissioner, one of the panelists, focused on the fact that it is not our responsibility to give a verdict on any issue and police not to be blamed in the shortcomings of the investigations. No doubt every, governance has some shortcomings but we should wait for a decision from Supreme Court.

Jerry Pinto, Journalist, directly questions the credibility of police and raises a question that where should a common man go for help?

Javed Anand, General Secretary, Muslims for Secular Democracy, mentions that there is a minority bias also apart from the failure on the level of investigative agencies.

The audience remained of the opinion that they are the victim of terror politics and not just terrorism.

Despite of all the differences on the thoughts by different panelists on two different debates, the fact is recognized that all the common and innocent folk of India and Pakistan, Hindu or Muslim, feel the same pain when a life is lost in a bomb blast but three years after 26/11 and several other blasts, where is the justice?

देखते-देखते हिन्दी फिल्मों के सीक्वेल बनने लगे. सबसे पहले सीक्वेल के बारे में पता लगा स्टारवार्स सिरीज से. किशोरावस्था का ज्यादा हिस्सा सीक्वेल देखते ही गुजरा. एंपायर स्ट्राइक्स बैक पहले देखी फिर रिटर्न आफ जेडाइ- मगर स्टारवार्स आज तक न देख सका. कुछ और सीक्वेल देखे- कई बार खराब, जैसे- डाइहार्ड का दूसरा भाग और कई बार इतने शानदार कि दांतो तले उंगलियां दबाए रह गए, जैसे- मैड मैक्स का पार्ट टू. इन दिनों फिल्म रिलीज होने से पहले ही उसकी अगली कड़ी का ऐलान कर दिया जाता है. ऐसे में कई बार कुछ ऐसी फिल्मों के नाम मन में घूम जाते हैं, जिसके बारे में अक्सर लगता है कि इनका सीक्वेल बनना चाहिए. यहां मैं ऐसी ही चार फिल्मों की चर्चा करना चाहता हूं. हर बेहतर फिल्म अपना खुद का एक संसार रचती है. इन बेहतरीन फिल्मों के साथ मेरी भी कल्पना ने उड़ान भरी तो लगा क्यूं न ये प्लॉट सबके साथ शेयर किए जाएं...

फूलन के जीवन का एक नया अध्याय शुरु होता है. इस बार चंबल के बीहड़ नहीं, राजनीति के बीहड़ों से गुजरना था. फूलन 1994 में पैरोल पर छूटती है. खराब स्वास्थ्य और एक के बाद एक खत्म होते साथियों के चलते उसने '83 में आत्मसमर्पण किया था. जेल से छूटने के बाद प्रदेश के तत्कालीन मुखिया ने सरकार की तरफ से उसके खिलाफ चल रहे सारे केस वापस ले लिए.

फूलन एकलव्य सेना का गठन करती है जिसका मकसद था छोटी जाति वालों को साक्षर और आत्मरक्षा के काबिल बनाना था. उमैद सिंह से शादी के बाद फूलन के जीवन एक नई राह पर चल पड़ता है. फूलन का राजनीतिक जीवन शुरु होता है. वह मीरजापुर से 11वीं लोकसभा के लिये चुनी जाती है.

मगर इस नई जिंदगी में सब कुछ नया नहीं है. बीते मौसम की हवाएँ एक बार फिर जिंदगी में आंधी बनकर चल पड़ती हैं. क्षत्रीय स्वाभिमान आंदोलन से जुड़े लोग फूलन के खिलाफ लामबंद होने लगते हैं. फूलन को अपनी राजनीतिक ताकत का एहसास होता है और वह आलोचनाओं की परवाह किए बगैर उनका इस्तेमाल करने लगती है. 25 जुलाई 2001 को नई दिल्ली में कार से निकल रही फूलन को गोलियों से छलनी कर दिया जाता है. यह बेहमई में 22 ठाकुरों को मारे जाने का प्रतिशोध था.

इस तरह एक चक्र पूरा होता है, जातियों को बीच सुलगती रंजिश, वर्चस्व की जंग और राजनीति के अपराधीकरण के बीच से गुजरती फूलन किसी मंजिल तक नहीं पहुंचती मगर उसकी जिजीविषा मौजूदा व्यवस्था पर अनगिनत सवाल छोड़ती चलती है.

क्यूं बने फिल्म?

बैंडिट क्वीन के सिक्वेल में सर्वाधिक संभावनाएं हैं, बीहड़ से निकली एक दलित स्त्री किस तरह से राजनीति में अपनी जगह बनाती है और किस तरह से जाति और वर्चस्व की लड़ाई इस धरातल पर चलती रहती है, यह अपने में एक रोमांचक महागाथा की तरह है और शायद इसे फिल्माया जाना उसके डकैत जीवन को पर्दे पर उतारने से ज्यादा जोखिम भरा है.

छोटे भाई करन और नई-नवेली पत्नी की क्रूर हत्या के बाद अन्ना को आग के हवाले करके किशन अपराधों की दुनिया से किनारा कर लेता है. उसके पास अतीत की कड़वी स्मृतियों के सिवा कुछ नहीं बचा है. वह मुंबई से दूर गोवा में छोटे से रेस्टोरेंट कारोबारी के रूप में एक गुमनाम सी जिंदगी बसर कर रहा है.

वहां उसकी मुलाकात एक तलाकशुदा महिला अनिता से होती है जो अपने बेटे के साथ अकेली रहती है. किशन को अतीत के अंधेरे से निकालने में उसकी बड़ी भूमिका बनती है. किशन एक नई जिंदगी शुरु करना चाहता है मगर उसका अतीत पीछा नहीं छोड़ता है.

जल्दी ही उसे पता लगता है कि न सिर्फ अन्ना के करीबी बल्कि अन्ना का दुश्मन मूसा के आदमी उसे खत्म करना चाहते हैं. वे उसे खोज निकालते हैं और जिंदगी-मौत की इस नई जद्दोजेहद में किशन का सामना एक भयानक सच्चाई से होता है.

आग में झुलसा अन्ना मरा नहीं जीवित था. वह खुद अपनी जान बचाने के लिए भाग रहा था. उसके साथियों ने पूरे कारोबार पर कब्जा कर लिया था और अब वे अन्ना को मारने के लिए ढूंढ़ रहे हैं. किशन के सामने एक राह निकलती है कोमल, शांत और उम्मीदों से भरे जीवन की और दूसरी एक अंतहीन दौड़ की जहां उसका मुकाबला प्रतिशोध की आग में जलते अन्ना और उसके साथियों से होना है...

क्यूं बने फिल्म?

यह विधु विनोद चोपड़ा का शायद आज भी सबसे बेहतरीन काम है, भारतीय थ्रिलर और अपराध फिल्मों में एक मील का पत्थर. इसमें एक डार्क इंटेंसिटी है. यह कहानी शुरु ही अधर में लटी परिस्थितियों से होती है. याद करें फिल्म में पहली बार माधुरी दीक्षित और अनिल कपूर कहां मिलते हैं? फिल्म का आरंभ ही एक तनाव भरी परिस्थिति से होता है. यह शैली अपने में कहानी के विस्तार की संभावनाएं समेटे हुए है. परिंदा हमारी दुनिया के समानांतर जैसे एक अलग दुनिया रचती है. उस दुनिया के भीतर जाना, वहां की कहानियों को सुनने का एक अलग ही रोमांच है.

अपने भीतर लगी रेड-चिप के चलते भारी तबाही मचाने के कारण अदालत रोबोट चिट्टी को मानवजाति के लिए खतरा मानती है और उसे डिसएबल करने का आदेश देती है. चिट्टी कई बरसों से एक म्यूजियम का हिस्सा है. वह देखने में भले निष्क्रिय हो, उसका मस्तिष्क सक्रिय है और वह वायरलेस माध्यमों के सहारे से नई टेक्नोलॉजी से खुद को लगातार अपडेट करता रहता है.

एक दिन चिट्टी को एक ऐसी घटना का पता लगता है, जो मानवजाति के लिए एक बड़ा खतरा बनने जा रहा है. दरअसल यह सुदूर अंतरिक्ष से आ रहे एक सिगनल हैं, वैज्ञानिक अभी इस पहेली को सुलझा ही रहे होते हैं कि चिट्टी उन्हें डिकोड कर लेता है.

रोबोट का मानना है कि इन सिगनल्स से ये साफ है कि उनके इरादों में कहीं भी मित्रता का अंश नहीं है, वे पुराने समुद्री डाकुओं की तरह एक के बाद एक उन ग्रहों की खोजते और उन पर फतेह करते आ रहे हैं, जहां जीवन की संभावनाएं हैं. उसकी बात पर कोई यकीन नहीं करता है. चिट्टी के पास एक ही रास्ता है कि वह कानून और अपने रचयिता डा.वशीकरण को दिए वचन को तोड़कर दोबारा सक्रिय हो. वह डा.वशीकरण से बात करता है मगर वे इसके लिए राजी नहीं होते.

क्यूं बने फिल्म?

रोबोट भारत के गिने-चुने साइंस फिक्शंन्स में शायद सबसे बेहतर है. यह फिल्म मनोरंजन के साथ ही एक संवेदनशील मानवीय विषय को भी छूती है. फिल्म में चिट्टी नामक रोबोट बने रजनीकांत के चरित्र में विस्तार की अपार संभावनाएं हैं. उसमें वह गहराई है जो उसे सिक्वेल या सिरीज के लिए उपयुक्त बनाती है. भारत के अन्य सुपर हीरो की तरह वह बनावटी नहीं है. अपने यहां ज्यादातर फिल्मों में सुपरहीरो के मैनेरिज्म, पोशाक या उसके एक्शन पर ज्यादा ध्यान दिया जाता है, उसके किरदार पर नहीं. बैटमैन जैसी गहराई ढूंढ़ना तो बहुत दूर की बात है. यह रजनीकांत की खूबी है कि वे इन कमियों से पार पाते हुए खुद को एक दिलचस्प देसी किरदार में ढाल सके हैं.

संभावित प्लॉट

सत्यवीर सिंह रंधावा (जी हां, यही नाम था इस फिल्म के जूनियर इंजीनियर का जो शौकिया जासूसी नॉवेल भी लिखता था) उसी छोटे शहर की हलचल से रहित दुनिया में मगन है. इस बीच उसकी जिंदगी में थोड़ा बदलाव आया है, घर में एक नन्हीं बच्ची का आगमन हुआ है, और उसकी पत्नी निम्मी पहले के मुकाबले बच्चों में ज्यादा मशगूल है.

सत्यवीर के सामने दूसरी तरह के दबाव हैं. प्रकाशक अब उस पर दबाव डालने लगे हैं. पिछली किताबों की सेल कम हुई है. वहीं कुछ दूसरे लेखकों की खराब किताबें भी काफी बिकी हैं. इसी बीच एक दिन चाय की दुकान पर एक अनजान व्यक्ति बातों-बातों में सत्यवीर को अगले उपन्यास का प्लॉट दे जाता है. सत्यवीर फटाफट उपन्यास लिख देता है. उपन्यास न सिर्फ बिकता है कि बल्कि लंबे समय बात उसके पास पाठकों के पत्र आने शुरु हो जाते हैं.

मामला उस वक्त अचानक एक रहस्यमय करवट लेता है जब उसे यह पता लगता है कि एक हत्या की साजिश को आधार बनाकर उपन्यास में लिखी घटनाएं हू-ब-हू वहां से अस्सी किलोमीटर दूर बसे एक कसबे में हुई घटना से मेल खा रही हैं। सत्यवीर को यह बात पता लगती है तो वह हैरान रह जाता है। राज का पता लगाने के लिए वह उस कसबे जाता है, मगर उसे यह नहीं पता होता है कि ऐसा करके वह अपनी जिंदगी के लिए सबसे बड़ा खतरा मोल लेने जा रहा है।

क्यूं बने फिल्म?

मनोरमा सिक्स फीट अंडर पश्चिम की नॉयर सिनेमा शैली में एक अद्भुत फिल्म है और कई मायनों में मौलिक भी. इस फिल्म की सबसे बड़ी खूबी है कि इसका परिवेश और नायक का चरित्र चित्रण. इसमें अपार संभावनाएं हैं आगे की कथा बुनने की. यह अपने में शैली या जॅनर की तरह काम कर सकता है.

She is not Munni neither she competes Sheela; she lived her own name which never required a fantasy name to get into the hearts of the mob. Helen Richardson Khan, the ‘Golden Girl’ of Indian film Industry remains as an inspiration for all the young and old artists of her as well as other fortes.

Passion colors everything
Born on October 21, 1939, the Anglo-Burmese beauty had two siblings. The struggle started when her father died during the Second World War. Her family came to the city of dreams (Mumbai) in 1943. It was not an easy task to run a family with the salary of a nurse mother so, Helen gave a thought to share her mother’s burden and started her dancing career as a chorus dancer. Although she had to leave her studies but her passion for dance gave her a recognition which today serves as a milestone in the art of cabaret dance and item numbers.

The Dancing fever
Helen started her career in dance as a chorus dancer in the movie Aawara. She got her first break in the song ‘Mera naam chin chin chu’, in the movie Howrah Bridge. When she started her career, Geeta Dutt gave her voice to the songs on which Helen gave stupendous performances. Her evergreen solo performances on ‘piya tu ab to aaja’ from the movie ‘Carvan’ and ‘Yeh mera dil’ from super hit flick ‘Don’ and ‘Mehbooba mehbooba’ from Sholay made her the director’s choice as an accelerator for the success of their movies.

The mantra of her success lied in her dedication towards her work and her approach towards life that, ‘no work is big or small, it’s we who take the art or a work to a new height’. She was one of the most graceful faces of the Indian cinema of her time and she could dance on any beat with the same zeal and enthusiasm.

Munni, Sheela and the Amma…
Yes, the ‘Golden Girl’ is the Amma of all. Be it Munni (Maliaka Arora Khan), Sheela( Katreena Kaif) , Bidi Jalaile fame (Bipasha Basu) or the Kajrare girl (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) , none of them lived their name from the item numbers which they did. Today they are recognized by the popularity of the song and for which most of the credit goes to the music directors and the lyricist.

Helen was and till now the only bomb shell that lived her name. She is the inspiration of all the youngsters who are passionate about dance and their dancing career. The moves which Helen made the grace which she had are being copied by today’s actresses but there is a long way to get into the perfection.

Earlier the Indian cinema did not have great technologies. The work which was done by the artists was presented in its purest form. Now we have enormous technologies, great sound systems, effects are being used but then, too, the fever of an item number does not lasts for more than a month or two.
It was not just dance…

Helen not only excelled in her own forte but even nailed her talent of acting in the Indian cinema. Starting from the Ashok Kumar era, she became the co- actress of the super hero of the millennium, Amitabh Bachchan and we can also see the splendor of her acting with today’s stars such as Salman khan and Abhishek Bachchan. She did almost 72 movies out of which most of them were a super hit like Don, Jewel thief, CID, Teesari Manzil, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Mohabbatein. Her latest movie was released in the year 2010, ‘Donno y… Na jane kyun’.

Real and the reel…
Helen shared her love wavelengths with Salim Khan, one of the most famous writers of Indian cinema. Salim helped Helen to get some of the memorable roles in the industry in movies like Don, Sholay and Dostana. She got married to Salim Khan and became his second wife and adopted a girl Arpita. The sizziling hot Salman Khan is her step son but it never appeared that Salman is Helen’s step son. The distinction was only in papers. Helen acted as the mother of Salman Khan in ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ as his grandmother in law in ‘Khamoshi’ and as his grandmother in ‘Marigold’.

The deserving talent…

Helen did number of stage shows in London, Paris and Hong Kong. She was selected for Padam Shree awards in the year 2009. She was awarded the best Filmfare actress in supporting role for the movie ‘Lahu ke do rang’ and Filmfare Life Time Achievement Award in 1999.

The dancing diva also appeared as the judge in the semi finals and finals of a reality show called ‘Dancing Queen’.

In the last month on October 21st, the diva celebrated her 72nd birthday. It’s all less whatever praise we do in the name of the Dancing Queen, but you live in our hearts and will always be…

आजकल फाक्स हिस्ट्री एण्ड ट्रैवलर का जादू सर चढ़ रहा है. यू टूयूब पर मलिस्का का एक पुराना शो देखा. दिल्ली को जानता तो था पर ऐसे नहीं. पता चला कि वहां एक विजय कुमार जी हैं जो कि अभी भी पुराने अन्दाज में फिल्मों के पोस्टर्स बनाते हैं. किस-किस के पोस्टर्स नहीं बनाए उन्होने ( पढ़ें टाइम्स आफ इंडिया का यह आर्टिकल).

रजिया सुल्तान का मकबरा भी देखा और साथ ही कनाट प्लेस का महाट्टा फोटो स्टूडियो. बताया जाता है कि अमिताभ बच्चन राजीव गांधी की सलाह के बाद इस दुकान पर फोटोग्राफी सीखने आए थे. अग्रसेन की बावली देखकर तो मन मचल उठा. 21वीं सदी की उंची उंची बिल्डिंग्स के बीच 14 सदी के राजा अग्रसेन की बनवाई हुई यह बाओली एक अनोखा फ्यूजन क्रिएट कर देती है.
